What to expect
- 🌞 In the morning, gather at the designated location in Xiamen and take a bus to Nanjing Yunshuiyao Ancient Town. Upon arrival, you will stroll along the bluestone paths of the ancient town, admire the simple and unsophisticated Tulou architecture, and feel the tranquility and serenity. Yunshuiyao Ancient Town attracts countless tourists with its unique southern Fujian style and long history and culture.

Tianluokeng Tulou complex is famous for its exquisite architectural art and unique layout, and is known as a "living museum of buildings." love this tour. seeing and visiting the Toulous firsthand was such an interesting experience. we were very glad we made this trip. lunch (on our own expense) was fabulous as we got to taste Hakka food from Fujian. definitely recommended this tour.
I was most concerned about communication because I didn't have a local Chinese number, but the day before, the person in charge and driver Chen Xunan contacted me via WeChat, and we successfully arranged the meeting place and time, which put me at ease. It was supposed to be a group tour, but it ended up being a private tour. Driver Chen Xunan kindly explained about the Tulou and even took photos for me, making it a very enjoyable trip! Thanks to him, I'm leaving Xiamen with wonderful memories. Highly recommended!
Wendy started contacting me months in advance with Whatsapp and Wechat. Few days before the tour date, Wendy contacted me again confirming we will be there. The day before the tour, Wendy created a group chat including the drive / tour guide Xu, and confirmed our hotel location. Xu confirmed the time he will pick-us up. Xu pickus up on time and to our surprise it was only the 2 of us in the big MPV for 6 - a small group tour become a private tour. We greatly appreciate that the tour operator did not cancel this tour. Xu was very professional, knowledgeable, and great driving skill, attentive to our request. The tour was fastantic with Xu knowing the places and local well. The tour ended a bit early then expected, and we are happy with that so we have a bit of time in the evening to look at Xiamen. Pick-up Service Area: Free pick-up and drop-off from hotels within Xiamen Island (Siming District, Huli District) [Guests at some hotels may need to walk to the nearest meeting point for pick-up. Guests near the airport or Wuyuan Bay need to go to the designated location on their own. Please consult customer service for details]. Extra charges will apply for locations outside these areas. The specific amount will be communicated and confirmed by our customer service team after the order is confirmed.
Schedule: Group tours depart around 7:00 AM and generally end around 6:00 PM, after which you will be returned to your hotel or pick-up point. We will inform you of the meeting time again the day before the tour. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
