We bought the voucher since they were still in Keong Saik road and still able to redeem after they move to Bendemeer. Cakes are still nice and they have more seating capacity than the previous outlet.
I visited the shop on a weekday late afternoon. There were 3 staff at the counter and they were really friendly, told me to take my time to decide which items to order. There are 3 tables in the shop for dine in customers. Prices are on the high side but there is no limit to the number of vouchers to redeem per transaction. The pastries also look super pretty and appetising.
2nd time buying from the bakery just to try out different items on the menu. Would say there's some hit and missed in terms of flavour and a little too pricey. Matcha croissant is my favourite so far but some others like the salmon pastries and orh nee tarts are a disappointment. Either too salty or that the taste don't gel well. Keong Saik branch is pretty small too, not many tables to sit for a good meal. All in all I'll still come back for the remaining I've not eaten and give my review on the next round.
Takeaway some pastries cos of Sun visit and no dining is allowed. The myriads of beautifully crafted pastries is a treat to the eyes. However the price is on the high side. ordered Lychee danish, black sesame Mochi Cube, Sor Hei , attap Chee rose cake and Orh nee. Pastry upon reheat still taste good and crisp next day. Cake were a bit on the heavy side and a bit dry. Overall still a novelty to try the locally inspired pastries.
"Keong Saik Bakery exceeds expectations with impeccable pastries, delightful ambiance, and exceptional service. A must-visit gem!"
First visit. Many pastries croissants cruffins and cakes. Interesting wide unique selection. But slightly pricey so can’t eat it too often. Taro croissant cube was v tasty. 6 bucks for one cube. Some tables and chair for dine in. Though read that not allowed to dine in on weekends from their Instagram. But saw ppl dining at the outside seats on the weekend I visited . Hope this could have been clarified. We ended up taking away the pastries as didn’t know we could have dined in and already had our food elsewhere
The bakery is always packed with people during weekend. Finally got a seat on weekday near to closing time. The two face burnt cheesecake is awesome, with original cheesecake & matcha combination, the best cheesecake eaten so far! Can only managed to get 2 slices of cakes with $10 cash voucher and top up some value.
Delicious bakery with nice drink. However, the staffs are a bit confused when delivering foods. They rang our buzzer when the food meant for another customer. While our food was ready, they didn't realize it was ours and continue to keep us waiting till we told them so.
Hosted in a humble shop house along Keong Saik, quite easy to locate. My $10 voucher can only get 2 items with some top up. Bought their top selling items. Taste is not bad but may not visit again as price was on the high side and not a convenient location.
The quality of products is very high! Visually nice, taste also great! Went midday and there was no queue too. Would recommend! A whole variety of products too
