Chitose and Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival One Day Tour from Sapporo

I was worried about whether we could go this year due to the heavy snow, but the day was sunny and not cold. The Rakkai Pioneer Village, with its old houses and shops reminiscent of Japan about 80 years ago, would be a great reference for people visiting from abroad. The guide took us to the tube slider area in the park, and from there we had free time. There were 100m and 200m sliders, and the 200m one was more popular, so the wait time was about 30 minutes. I was able to slide down the 100m one three times. It's not crowded there, so you can slide down many times. We were able to walk through the forest in snowshoes. It took about an hour for one lap. You won't fall, so older people can enjoy it too. It was a really fun experience because I was able to do something I don't usually get to do. The ice festival was more wonderful than I expected, and even though it wasn't the time for the light-up, I felt that the blue ice looked more like ice during the day. Apparently, in previous years it was melting and not as beautiful as this year. This year is the year to go! The guide was very professional and explained things diligently even on the bus. I couldn't understand the language, but her speaking style was like that of a Chinese singing show MC, with a beautiful voice and pronunciation. She was very kind. Thank you.

i highly recommend this tour. it is very well organized, Ms. Cindy is angelic and very dedicated and the bus driver are the best tour guides we've ever had. this tour have the best tourist spots to see. Thanks and see you again next year.

My favorite tour here in Klook so far. everything goes smoothly. the guide is polite and nice even though she don’t speak English. the buffet lunch in good. but my favorite part is the lake shikotsu ice festival. the view is mesmerizing.

We were able to go to all destinations. To bad we have only short hours for the buffet food. 30 mins is to rush for a buffet.

The schedule of the trip is very smooth! We are delighted to see the beautiful view.

The Place is amazing,huge ice sculpture,also its fun snow tubing....our guide was so nice .

Highly recommend this tour with Ms Jin Yan, she was a wonderful guide. She is like no other tour guide, she truly enjoy her work and make sure everyone was well taking care of and explained the itinerary throughly, clear on departure time so no one was late and the trip went smoothly. I love how she would share her own life experience in japan. A bonus to our fantastic trip, we have made a new friend in Japan how lovely!

Team leader Xiaoling has no problem communicating in Chinese! Friendly and kind! Before arriving at the scenic spot, you will be reminded whether you need to bring thick coats and gloves! The driver is lively, friendly, skilled and won’t get carsick! Great itinerary♡♡

Met tour guide Xiao Yang from Taiwan, who was very kind and professional. He explained a lot about the history of Hokkaido, allowing everyone to have a deeper understanding of Hokkaido. The Hokkaido Pioneer Village in winter is beautiful and great for taking pictures. Playing freely in the snow at Lily Park was also great, and the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival was amazing, but it was really too cold. Overall the itinerary was great, but unfortunately the time was too short. It would have been even better if we could have seen the Ice Festival at night.
