Easy to redeem coupon.. Fun and use your creativity for posing and taking pictures.. 😀 😉 😊 😄
Appreciate the staff suggesting various ideas/postures and taking the photos for us. The location is also great - it's only 5 minutes' walking distance from Muzium Samudera (Flor de La Mar). Problem was that there was not much cover from the sun during the walk from Muzium Samudera.
Can be done in 15mins. Staffs were helpful. They help position us and guide us on how to view the images they have taken. Kiddos had fun. Big space area. No crowd.
enjoyed the posing style ! hahahahax but we dont know how to cover the place seems there are lots of people in together ! suggest to send limited person into it with limited time !
We enjoyed our photo taking time in this museum. The lady staff was so good and helped us take photos. Her explanation on how to pose was specific and photos turned out good and fun. This is a good place to go to when you're in Melaka. Do drop by. Although it's a small museum, we did have fun posing and make funny expressions. Thank you for helping us take photos.
my family like so much to take various photos. u can target spend half to one hour inside there
The kids had fun. We went there on saturday around 12pm-ish. Not a lot of people. Future recommendation: Maybe add more rooms (rent a bigger space), it can be crowded if lots of ppl come at the same time)
nice experience with friendly staff. They even helped to take pictures for us. my daughter loves it. It was fun.

Guide

  • Unleash your quirky side and snap yourself some mind-bending photos
  • The house consists of a gallery complete with interiors and decors, much like a real house, except that they’re in a completely upside-down position!
  • Built by a director with 10-year industry experience, this is a new landmark Melaka is becoming known for
  • If you're up for a good laugh and a great time, this is one of the must-visit family-friendly attractions in Malaysia
  • Don't forget to book your tickets early – the place gets easily crowded with locals and tourists!

Unleash your crazy side with the entire family and friends at Upside Down House Gallery! Modeled after the archetypal Malaysian house, the exhibition is divided into 5 specially designated rooms – living room, kitchen, baby room, master bedroom, and bathroom. All are well-furnished with home décor and interiors, except they're located in their usual places upside down! The main entrance is also a popular place that people visit for fun pictures.

Make the most out of your experience by trying different angles in this unique and fun place and be sure to strike some wacky poses! Don't hesitate to ask any member of the staff, they might even suggest some fun ideas for your snaps!

FAQs

How can I get there?

If you are traveling by car from Kuala Lumpur, you can drive about 2 hours along Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan to the gallery. If you are staying in Melaka, it is also within walking distance from several hotels and is about 10 minutes away from Jonker Street Night Market.

Is it the same as the KL Upside Down House in Kuala Lumpur?

Both attractions offer a range of specifically designated rooms in an upside-down position, but the overall structure and style of the Kuala Lumpur Upside Down House are different. What makes the difference is that it features a bright yellow antique car looming above its main entrance and it is surrounded by an upside-down garden housing colourful artificial flowers.
