Intro: Xi'an Banpo Museum was built in 1957 on the Banpo Site (a Neolithic Yangshao culture matriarchal clan tribal site dating back about 6,000 years). Here, it's like traveling through time, recreating the life scenes of our ancestors, and also learning about the unique burial system and simple pottery and painted art of the time.
