What to expect
You can enjoy a variety of courses and spectacular views in Asarigawa onsen Ski resort. The course has both the compacted snow zone and the uncompacted snow zone. There are many courses in the compacted snow zone, there is a view point overlooking the Sea of Japan, a woodland course through the woods, and a zone recommended for beginners and parents and children. The uncompacted snow zone is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers. You can enjoy the deep snow with a wide barn and you can enjoy powder snow while staying true to the natural terrain.
The summit is 660 metres above sea level and is a viewpoint overlooking the Sea of Japan.
Skiing with a view of the ocean is a great feeling!
After a large curve, the view point welcomes the Sea of Japan in front of you. Some courses give you the feeling of skiing toward the ocean.
A total of nine different courses satisfy both advanced and beginner skiers, with wide runs overlooking the Sea of Japan and non-pressed powder snow to enjoy.
It is a popular ski resort for tourists and locals alike.
The center house has a restaurant, locker rooms, stores, cafeteria, etc.
You can get Asarigawa onsen Ski resort by bus from JR Otaru Chikko Station. It is easily accessible.
After a full meal at the restaurant, let's ski as much as you want again!
This is a ski resort located in the Asarigawa Onsen Hot Springs area.It is conveniently located within walking distance from accommodations in the Asarigawa Onsen spa resort.
Otaru City is also only 20 minutes away by bus or car, so after skiing you can enjoy the hot springs, dining and sightseeing in Otaru.
