What to expect
Travel to some of Singapore's oldest territories and discover its origins as you stroll down memory lane. Enjoy the tropical breeze on a Trishaw Uncle ride and blend into each district – Singapore River, Little India, Kampong Glam, and Chinatown – for an authentic, old-timey Singaporean journey. Be greeted by a true blue trishaw “uncle,” a term of endearment for trishaw riders given by locals. In history, trishaw uncles formed the early backbone of the country's labor force, thanks to their manual strength to get people to places before the emergence of modern transportation. Beneath every unique corner has a story of its own and combining them all together lead up to the competitive, thriving nation we know as Singapore today. Venture deeper into Chinatown for its temples and restored shophouses; Singapore River for its incredible port relations with the rest of the world; Kampong Glam for its migrant roots with hints of Malay and Indian cultures; and finally, Little India for the interesting mix of local and migrant communities. Don't forget to drop by the shops in these areas and treat yourself to some kitschy souvenir. Guided by professional trishaw riders, you're in for a different kind of expedition as you look back to these places in awe.

Reviews
It is a pleasant journey as we get to learnt about the historical buildings of little India and bugis street and the hill Street oldest and colorful building of police station and fire station. The whole journey is cooling and windy although suddenly there is slight downpour but the caring and friendly trishaw uncle covered the trishaw with transparent canvas so that we are still able to enjoy the whole journey viewing. We had enjoyed ourselves very much .
Had never sat in a trishaw before so booked a short ride for the experience. It was a very pleasant evening as the weather was cool especially after a short shower. With the light breeze and commentary from the speaker giving the history of the sites and architecture, it was very informative and somewhat entertaining. There was no loud music that I used to hear in the past from the trishaws. The uncle is very friendly, and also very skilful when driving. The traffic condition on a Saturday evening was surprisingly light which was fantastic as I could enjoy the views in “serenity”.
Really chill & fun! We have enjoyed it alot, thanks uncle! It was a new experience that we have not experience before
Great to tour around Singapore River. Wish it is a two way rounded trip though. Trishaw uncle is skilful to ferry 2 paxs.
Trishaw uncle was relatively friendly but not that knowledgeable about the area. Recording in English playing on his phone was pretty soft and didn’t really correspond to the sights somehow. Interesting experience but not worth the $20 per person (or $40 per trishaw for 2) in my opinion.
great experience with interesting commentary by audio guide during tour of little india
Is a very interesting activity, even though was a 45mins ride😊👍
learned new information about Singapore which was very interesting. the driver was also so hardworking. kudos to him for overcoming slopy areas. there was a point of time where it was abit hot cause of the sun but other than that, this was a cool experience.
Trishaw uncle is very helpful. He help us take picture before we start the journey and in the road too when traffic light is red. The lighting is beautiful and have audio to explain the history. The uncle also explain about the history of the building / area. Recommended attraction and we can help them earn money and you can give tips for them if you really impress with their service.
Once we stepped onto the trishaw, the nostalgic feelings gushed in... We went for the Kg Glam route and were amazed by the enroute scenery. Trishaw rider was courteous throughout the journey. Glad we made the right choice. Thank you Trishaw Uncle 👍
