Surfing Lesson in Uluwatu Bali by Cakrawala Asia

Surfing for the first time, I must say that this operator did a good job in looking out for the safety and making sure everyone is safe and had a good time! My instructors for the day were Yasman and Silvanus who are experienced surfers themselves. They took 3 beginners under their wing when we hit the waters.

It was fun to learn surfing with Cakrawala Asia, Louis was a great coach and the way he taught was easy for beginners to catch it the first few times. Safety conscious was high as we were offered to change location during the day of activity due to big waves which was not suitable for beginners. Includes photos and videos as well, which was so fun to revisit the good memories.

I took a beginner surfing lesson here. I was worried since it was my first time, but my surfing instructor, DONY, taught me really well! Such a kind and best teacher! I've really gotten into surfing and want to come back again, haha. I wanted to surf at Dreamland, but due to the wave conditions that day, we surfed at Jimbaran instead. It was safer here because of the sandy bottom, and I had a great time. They even lent me a rash guard, which is perfect for beginners.

I just finished an amazing surf experience with Klook, and I can’t give it anything less than 5 stars! The instructors, with a 2-to-1 ratio, were fantastic. I managed to catch 4 waves, and having time to rest between rides made the experience much more enjoyable and less tiring. A special shout-out to Irawan, but honestly, all the instructors were friendly and approachable. They started with a clear explanation of the basics, reassuring me and making me feel comfortable in the water. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out there was a photographer. I received all the photos within 24 hours, which made the experience even more memorable. If you’re in the Uluwatu area, I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to get into surfing!

Coach: Excellent and very professional. Experience: I had no prior experience, but I was able to learn to stand up. Location: The coach adjusted the location based on wave size, always nearby. Equipment: Beginner soft-top board.

Came with footage and thankfully I reach before my appointment time so I get to join with 1 other person inside of later with 5 people. Tiring but fun. 2 is to 1 instructor is good because we have to wait for each other to ride the waves 🌊 I managed to get 3 waves only. As I booked from Klook is says that shower room, reef shoes, safety locker & sunblock were provided but there wasn't. Our bags were just put in a basket outside their shop. Do remember to bring your own towels as it was also not given.

Book with this well organized group! The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure we got the most out of our time. We originally went with a beachside instructor and did not receive the same quality. Small groups, excellent communication and safety lessons. If you want the best experience, ask for Louise — hands down the best instructor on the beach! We learnt so much and felt supported, we went back the next day. Started with a beginner lesson and progressed to a more advanced beach the following day. Absolutely worth it!

This surfing experience was amazing! The instructors Ferrman and Luis were very kind, clear with instructions and easy to follow. It was a great location for beginners and the timing was great too. Started off with small waves and then slowly got bigger due to high tides coming in. The timing on their part was very well prepared.

instructor: Nanda was a great instructor. I was tired midway and he towed me on my surf boar midway. experience: waves were great, ocean was blue and so was the sky. safety: Nanda made sure I was safe at all times by keeping a lookout. there are many rocks on the ocean floor. so you may keep that in mind. it’s not dangerous if you fall feet first but just a little uncomfortable like acupuncture .

This was my first surfing class, and the crew was awesome! They explained the onshore basics nice and clear, and were very patient with their guidance during wave practice. Cameraman will capture all the funny and shining moments for you. Safety was well checked, and I had so much fun learning to surf!!! 🌊🏄‍♀️
