This hotel is always my first pick if I plan to visit the outlet. They offer nice room with view, nice onsen with free ice-cream, nice supper with free ramen and coffee, nice foot bath with Fuji mountain view.

Dormy inn is a trusted brand having stayed there before. Managed to get a great price this time with Klook’s summer vouchers to Japan. We stayed here for a night after a day at Kirin distillery and Gotemba. Room was a cozy size but the bath has a good amount of space for washing up and soaking. I was pleasantly surprised with Refa showerheads in the public bath, which has the famous mist feature. The foot bath at the top floor provided a relaxing soak in the morning though we were not lucky to have a Mt. Fuji view. Breakfast spread was amazing while staying delicious. Otherwise, staff weren’t very proactive as there are self check-in booths. Our other room for our group had an attached parking but the staff were not helpful in providing parking details, causing it to be a hassle for dropping off luggages at the lobby rather than directly through the room.

There’s a lot to be said for staying in Gotemba Dormy inn. The rooms are super clean without a shadow of a doubt and the staff who are working there are friendly and helpful as always. Highly recommended.

This Dormy Inn Express Gotemba is the highlight of my 2025 Japan trip. These are provided free, but at specific timings. Onsen and Footbath 3pm to 10am, ice creams and self serve drink bar 3pm to 11pm, ramen 9.30pm to 11pm, probiotic drink 5am to 10am. The most AMAZING thing is you get a FANTASTIC view of Mt Fuji while doing foot bath at the roof top of this hotel. (The room is small though)

Best Hotel I have ever stayed in Japan! You can get everything you want here. Free Onsen, Ramen, Yakult and other drinks, Foot Spa. My room is facing Mount Fuji as well!
