GreatSolo stay
The room was clean except there was a random hair in the shower. I didn’t like how close the rooms were and how small the floors were. Meaning when you get off the elevator it felt like a bunch of doors crammed together so anyone could easily sneak up and push their way into the room while you were entering. There was also a housekeeping wagon sitting in front of my room door in the very narrow hall during my 3 night stay.

GoodStayed with family · For friends and family
I book this hotel for the rooftop, and it’s location near the 4th of July fireworks entrance, I thought I can take my boys to experience the fireworks from the rooftop even if it’s partial view. When I got to the hotel it was 2:30pm. There was a separate entrance set-up like a club entrance with this dude standing like bouncer checking for id’s, I was confused but he directed me inside after he attempt to make me go the long way to enter the hotel. I asked the front desk personnel for early checking but it was not available. I was told to wait until 3pm for my room, and someone will come to let me know if it’s ready. At 3:10pm no-one came for me so I went to the front desk and they proceeded to give me my room without apologizing for the wait. I ask about the rooftop, they said it’s closed because there’s a special event going on and it’s $75 per person. I thought it would been accessible for guests staying at the hotel but I was wrong. So later on my kids and I went to the line outside around 8:30pm to see the fire works. By the time we got back it was 9:50pm that special line to enter the building like a club was gone and everything back to normal. So clearly they used this opportunity to make money on that day. Hotel need to put on the website that the rooftop or any other part of the building that’s being advertised as part of the package would not be available on certain holidays. Paid $467 for room that’s usually $200. If I’m getting charged more give better service.

Confortable bed and linens felt clean and crisp. Room was a tad bit small. It’s expected in the city.

One the main reasons I chose this hotel was the advertisement of the rooftop bar. Being in NYC during the summer, a good rooftop is always a nice escape. However, after arriving to the hotel, we were told that the rooftop is only used for private events and no longer open to hotel guests which was a huge bummer. I would have selected a different hotel if I knew this.

Fantastic Hotel lobby was nice and upper floors were clean. No doorman to help with the luggage. Rooms were small and dark but clean. Changed rooms, the first room had one window that faced a wall. The second room was fine.

Fantastic This hotel was a great spot for visiting Pier 17 / Seaport. Clean room, cozy beds. Small… but plenty of space for myself and my daughter. Would stay again for sure!

Below averageSolo stay
I stayed one night in the hotel, and id probably never stay again due to the elevator being extremely slow and skipping floor levels. I was on a time crunch to get to the airport and I wanted over 10 minutes on floor 5. After minute 13 I had to walk down 5 flight of stairs with two luggage’s. Also the restaurants were either under construction or had a private event so I had to leave to get a drink and bite to eat. Just not what I expected at all
