Good

Solo stay

Good value for money but was met with a series of grunts instead of a welcoming greeting. Situated in a quiet area without the noise of nightlife.

Great hotel, clean and quality service. Located within walking distance from ancient town. We got here earlier then check in time and the owner accomodated us. Would highly recomend.

Very clean and new. Only 1 of the ladies at the reception spoke English but she was very helpful and kind. BUT, we arrived at about 11pm our first night and got into an unpleasant argument with the security guard regarding who will hold our passports. I told him that he can make copies of our passports including the visa page (which is standard pretty much everywhere in SE Asia... Including Vietnam) but I don't leave my passport with anyone regardless of the country I am traveling in. He would not back down and even said we can't check in if I don't give him the passports to keep. We argued for 10 minutes and he finally called who I assume to be the owner of the hotel (on the phone) and he was fine with me just leaving my ID and passport number. Hopefully they reconsider this policy as it is very unpleasant to be told I cannot check into a hotel at 11pm because I refuse to leave my passport with the front desk.
