I wish a menu would have been provided ahead of time for guest to select. Also I wish we were able to take photo memories of us in the outdoor bath since everyone was wearing bathing suit.

hidden gem, when onsen is connected with nature, not only your body is relaxed, your mind and soul too. food are fancy and well prepared, in my option, a bit too much too. onsens are 24/7 accessible, with changing room in every single onsen, every onsen has a river view and mountain view, very well preserved, lily flower on the side road, you can smell it while in onsen. must experience once in a life time. I can't describe it with words, but really, its worth ever bit of travel hassle getting there.

A truly great experience here. All staff were exceptional. The food is great. They have mixed onsens and traditional male female onsens. They are all great and no additives - just natural spring water. You live a traditional way during your stay . They issue traditional clothing and swimwear for the mixed onsens for your stay. We will be back for sure.

Reaching there is not a problem at all, take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Jomokogen, and the hotel has the free bus shutter service to pickup at 1300 and 1500. Onsen was superb for both outdoor and indoor. Big room, abit dusty, but still clean. Love the staff! Love the amazing dinner and breakfast! Definitely recommended.
