Fantastic

Standard Double Open-Air Bath · 2 Adults · 1 Nights

By far my favorite hotel I’ve experienced in Japan. Staff were not only friendly but excited to accommodate foreigners. They jumped at the chance to assist everyone from explaining check in processes to the amenities of the facility. Check in was smooth and they even let me drop off my bags early before check in so I could optimize my time in nikko and explore everything near by. it’s approximately a 5-10 minute walk uphill out of the main strip for an able bodied human. if you are out of shape or elderly than consider setting up a shuttle from the train station with the concierge 24/hrs before. The private onsen in your own room was an experience I’ll tease and cherish forever. I WILL be back!! If you get the half board package you’re given 5000 yen worth of meal vouchers to spend at a variety of restaurants that are all phenomenal and you eat in a green house. public and private hot springs are available in addition to those in the room. Shinkyo bridge was a 15 ish minute walk away
