This stay was surprisingly a very pleasant experience. Location was superb with all shopping opportunities within a few minutes walk. Don Quijote was just around the corner and no long lines in the cashier was the best part! Right across was Uniqlo, GU and 3 Coins as well. Cafes and restaurants were plentiful within the surrounding areas. With all these pluses, this will now be our go to hotel when in Nagoya! Thank you for this wonderful discovery. We will definitely go back!

We were able to stay here for one night, and the amenities were good. If you’re able to get it, the free breakfast is also delicious and diverse. Just a tip that if booking through Klook, they’re particularly strict with number of people in the room, and it has to match your booking.

One of the highlights was the rooftop public bath, which was a relaxing way to unwind after spending the day exploring Nagoya. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was reliable and professional. The surrounding area is lively, with many restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues nearby. On the positive side, the lively location makes it easy to find food and entertainment without traveling far. Overall, I would recommend APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae for solo travelers, couples, and business travelers who prioritize convenience, cleanliness, useful facilities, and good value for money over having a large room. We had a wonderful stay at APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae Ekimae! The location was excellent and everything we needed was within walking distance, including Don Quijote, the subway station, convenience stores, and plenty of restaurants, which made getting around Nagoya incredibly convenient. The room was also a pleasant surprise. It was clean, comfortable, and more spacious than we expected, giving us plenty of room to relax after a full day of exploring. The hotel was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

Great service! Upon check in, I was told I’ll have a smoking room. I showed them my reservation as proof that I paid for a “non-smoking room.”. Apparently, they no longer have a non-smoking room for the type of room I paid for so they upgraded me to a bigger “non-smoking room” with appropriate apology. Appreciate the favorable adjustment and courtesy. 👍 Will book this hotel again 😊soon.
