We booked this hotel since it is nearer to Ironman activities, and they did not disappoint. But Belmont changed its name, now named Mercure Hotel. We got confused a bit when we looked for it. They also adjusted their breakfast time to 3:30am to accommodate the triathlon participants. Kudos to the management!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the amenities. The pool was relaxing and well-maintained, and the sauna was a perfect way to unwind. The beach was definitely a highlight— ideal for a quick escape. Overall, a refreshing and enjoyable experience.

good hotel, clean and the free access to mactan newtown is a good offer. thier buffet breakfast is also decent. one thing they need to fix is the bad sewege smell coming from their basement

hotel is not located in town area. seems like a new and well developed location. Easy to get amenities and walkable to the beach. Also the buffet spread is not bad.

Room was nice and clean. Amenities are good. But need improvements on in room access as we had issues with the room keycard and hair dryer provided was not working. Breakfast buffet is ok. Menu was not cohesively layed out eg Menudo and Longanisa was beside the pancake area...

we enjoyed our stay at Belmont,new name is Mercure.I really love the infinity pool in the beach, where we just walk maybe 10min from the hotel,beach is not really nice some stones in water,awe booked 2 rooms one toulet bowl was not functioning well, need to fix.The staff are nice, responsive to any querries ,and they are also reminding us to have wristband when using the beach.overall satisfactory service!
