So happy to have ticked one on my to-do-list! This is truly a one of a kind experience. Full of adrenaline! Conquered my fear of heights ziplining and jumping into the water! MCRICH (and Gelou my guide) did an amazing job for this unforgettable experience! I can do this over and over again. 👍👍👍 location: clean and well maintained safety: guide very helpful during the tour experience: must do over and over

It was great experience from booking to pickup to the whale watching itself, our driver Kuya Joramie was very friendly and accomodating. he drove with utmost safety and care. ate Malyn who helped us during the whale watching was very kind to look after our stuff, ensure we get the queue and have an amazing experience. Kuya Joramie was very kind to do a stop over in Carcar for us to buy some lechon Cebu! awesome and flawless experience all in all.

I think this was the best experience of my life (other than having my children of course) our driver Jearson was so nice we chatted a lot about England and the Philippines, on our 6 hour round trip with him. Our tour guide Amalia was also lovely and very helpful. swimming with the whale sharks I will NEVER forget, it was just amazing. The falls was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited as was the island of Sumilon. Very tranquil and the snorkelling on the island was just beautiful with gorgeous fish to be seen. The light breakfast and buffet lunch was incredible, and the early start (3am) was worth every moment. one tip (you aren’t allowed to wear suncream with the whale sharks because of the chemicals it contains, so take a cover up) my photos of the whale sharks were taken on an underwater camera and if you ask the boat men and pay them a tip they will video and take photos of you with them 😁

Kuya Daniel, our driver, was incredibly kind, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. He was easy to talk to, fun to joke with, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. As first-timers, we really enjoyed swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob. We appreciated that Kuya Daniel suggested doing the activity before breakfast since we arrived early. One small suggestion: it would have been helpful if the guide (don’t know the name) had recommended bringing or renting snorkeling gear. Goggles were provided, but snorkeling gear would have made it much easier to fully enjoy seeing the whale sharks underwater. The canyoneering tour was the highlight! Kuya Joel and Ate Dy were amazing — friendly, attentive, and always prioritized our safety. Ate Dy captured so many great photos and videos, while Kuya Joel encouraged me to conquer my fear and even jumped with me twice! Highly recommend this wonderful team!

Sir Mark of McRich is easy to talk to. Kuya Marlon was our driver. He. arrived 30 minutes earlier. Smooth driving, not too slow, not too fast. Unfortunately, we didnt see the whaleshark nor embark on a boat. Sir Mark advised that they will process partial refund. We will wait for that. then we went to Tumalog falls, had our lunch then went to Moalboal. all our guides were professional and funny. we had so much fun. this tour is worth it even though we were sad that our Russian guests didnt encounter any whalesharks(((

They arrived on time, they were organized and tourist guide Dina kept us company the whole time. Dina was knowledgable and easy going, we had a great day! Would definitely book again. Our driver Kuya Jess was great too! We loved seeing the whalesharks, they were abundant that day. Sumilon was beautiful. And Tumalog falls was majestic!

What to know before visiting Oslob

Top experiences at a glance

Oslob’s most-booked experiences are outdoor and sports activities, followed closely by water activities, with demand rising and falling through the year — bookings peak in December and dip most around October. Massages appear as a low-cost add-on option, while attraction passes are fewer but sit at the top end of the price scale.

Best activities for different travellers

Families tend to favour water activities and gentle outdoor experiences that let kids enjoy wildlife and the coast, while couples will enjoy scenic outdoor and water outings that can double as relaxed day trips. Solo travellers and small groups often pick outdoor & sports activities for the wider range of options and more adventurous choices, and massages make an easy, low-cost option for downtime after a day of exploring.

What travellers from the Philippines should book ahead

If you’re travelling from the Philippines, plan ahead: most bookings were made around a few weeks out, so you’ll want to lock in key activities roughly that far in advance, especially in the peak month of December when demand is highest. Last-minute options exist a couple of days before travel, but the earliest planners sometimes reserve much earlier for popular dates.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Massages are the easiest, most budget-friendly way into Oslob’s activities, while attraction passes sit at the premium end despite being less common. Outdoor & sports activities show the widest price range, covering entry-level to higher-end options and suiting everyone from budget travellers to those wanting more specialised experiences. Water activities generally sit in the mid-range and are ideal for families and groups looking for memorable coastal or marine experiences.
