Things to do in Busselton Jetty

The miniature train ride takes one hour round trip. If you purchased tickets through Klook, you need to exchange them at the blue hut before boarding. Seating is assigned by carriage, but within the carriage, you can choose your own seat. After the train ride, we had breakfast at The Goose, located across from the pier. We sat outside, enjoying the beautiful scenery and excellent food quality.

The journey was fun and exciting. The train rides were nice, and the underwater observatory was alright, but the knowledge of the tour guide was the best. I enjoyed the experience.

Had a really amazing tour with Don to Margret River. Firstly, hotel pick up was available all around the city to bring us to a meet up point where we will change bus. Then we will get introduced to our tour guide of the day. Don, our tour guide, is a knowledgeable and easy going guy. He went through the history of Australia and the different towns during the two hours drive from Perth to Bussleton Jetty, which is really amazing how he remembers the details so well! We got to visit the Bussleton Jetty, wine tasting at Woody Nooks Wine, lunch at Cheeky Beers, explore Mammoth Crystal Cave, visited the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and a small town in Margret River. Overall the tour was nicely planned out with just enough time for us to explore the areas.

We were really lucky to spot dolphins on our trip! Just keep your expectations realistic, as the dolphins are wild and not confined to a specific area, so sightings aren’t guaranteed. Our guide was helpful and shared some fun facts about the dolphins while taking us around different areas to look for them. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

We had a fantastic Margaret River day tour! Everything was well organised, and our driver/guide, Michael, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the day running smoothly. We visited beautiful scenic spots, enjoyed great food and wine, and had plenty of time at each stop. Even though Lake Clifton was closed, the replacement stop at Vasse Virgin was a nice addition. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the best of Margaret River in a day!

Many thanks to our tour guide, Johnny, for taking us down south. The road trip made us feel great! I especially enjoyed the Lake Cave tour where the guide vividly explained the formation history and chemical principles behind the crystals like stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, and shawls. The use of light and shadow during the tour highlighted their beauty, which was truly amazing. Although it was too cloudy for stargazing that night, Johnny took us on a special search for wild kangaroos!

The journey from Perth to Margaret River is quite long. This tour manages to visit wineries, the coast, and take a mini-train ride all in one day, making the itinerary very full. However, it's a bit of a shame that lunch only involves sharing pizza with other tour members.

It was raining on the day of our tour, so it was rather cold, luckily the tour was a small group (only 6 of us excluding the driver who also acts as a tour guide). The best part was the winery and the lighthouse. We reached back around 8 pm as the journey to margaret river back and fro took a no of hours. Value for money tour.

We traveled with 2 adults and our 6-year-old daughter, and we had a wonderful day trip. Our guide, Kenny, was very kind and patient. The itinerary was followed as described, with on-time pickup and drop-off. Kenny also helped us take family photos.
