This is very convenient for those who mainly rely on water buses in Venice. After exchanging the physical ticket at the ticket vending machine, you only need to put the ticket on the gate machine for identification every time you enter the gate.

Great experience and history lesson. My favorite part was going through the Bridge of Sighs and peering out the small opening of sunlight, which was the last glimpse of the outdoors of many of the prisoners. Prepaying helped avoid the long ticket lines. I highly recommend.

It is easy to get to the accommodation, which is more convenient than taking the bus. You don't have to walk too far with your luggage. If it is summer, the cabin will be very hot and stuffy, especially at noon.
