The Ancient City and Erawan Museum are the two best places to visit if you are in Bangkok. Ancient city houses many diverse and gigantic structures, whose beauty must be seen to be believed. Erawan museum, in itself, is a stunning museum with a three-headed Elephant at its core.

Initially, I was told that the time might be changed, but thanks to the efforts of the staff, I was able to participate at the scheduled time. The driver and tour guide were both professional. Although the tour guide would first explain some information related to the attractions and things to pay attention to after arriving at the attractions, then it was free time. Overall, I would still recommend everyone to participate. If you don't need to worship, you can also treat it as an opportunity to learn about Thai architecture and culture.

I personally think that the 3 hours in Ancient City is not enough considering how wide the area is. Regardless, the join-in tour was good, tour guide was knowledgeable with the history of 2 areas.

Definitely a must-visit in Bangkok. Awesome architectures and visual representations of the rich culture of Thailand. If you are traveling solo in Ancient City and you don’t want to rent a bike or golf cart, go buy a Tram ticket instead. It’s very convenient and affordable.

We had such a fun and memorable day visiting the Ancient City and Erawan Museum! Everything went smoothly from the hotel pickup to drop-off, and the tour was perfectly organized. We first went to the Ancient City, and it was absolutely beautiful. It felt like exploring all of Thailand in one place (full of stunning replicas of temples, palaces, and historical landmarks) The area was well maintained and peaceful, with lots of photo spots. We loved taking our time to enjoy each stop and learn about Thai culture and architecture. After that, we visited the Erawan Museum, which was just as impressive. The giant three-headed elephant statue was breathtaking, and the inside was filled with incredible details and colors. The whole experience was relaxed and well organized. We enjoyed every moment and learned so much about Thailand’s history. Definitely one of our favorite activities in Bangkok — highly recommended!
