Things to do in Melbourne

Terry delivered a solid tour on 2 Dec 2025. He knew his country well, stayed patient and kept the mood light. The Puffing Billy train ride was the highlight. I spotted an echidna, several kookaburras and many brown bunnies. He also brought us to scenic places that showed the region clearly. Dinner was fresh fish and chips at one of his favourite spots. The Penguin Parade gave a close view of the penguins returning to shore and it felt special to watch. I left with good memories and would recommend this tour for a smooth and enjoyable day.

It is a great trip I've ever had. The sceneries are stunning. Warren is a amazing guide. He made us enjoy every minute of the trip. We see the wild kangroos and Koalas. Which is definitely an add to this trip.

My partner and I signed up for this full-day tour, and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Curtis, was very engaging and thoughtful, and he really made our trip very fun and entertaining. There were sufficient time to explore the different checkpoints at a very comfortable pace. Our personal favourite was the penguin parade. We upgraded to premium tickets and it was absolutely worth it. Watching the penguins waddle back to shore very mesmerising. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent Great Ocean Road tour experience. The driver was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making the journey safe and enjoyable. Time management was spot on — every stop was well-planned with no rushing and no wasted time. Food arrangements were good and convenient, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day. It’s such a nice trip to view the great scenery of the Great Ocean Road. Used to be a teacher, our guide Robbo is a very nice gentleman with so much knowledge, guiding us around with full, clear speeches. Fully recommend this wonderful trip with Go West Tour!

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is a fun place to visit. Got many different marine species and the walk through is easy. You can see sharks, rays, penguins, jellyfish and colourful reef fish. The exhibits are clear and you can get a close look at the animals. Good for families and also for solo visitors. The info boards are simple to understand. You will enjoy the place and learn something new.

Getting tickets purchased in advance. Made my trip easy without worrying about queuing issue. Melbourne zoo is worth paying a visit. There is a playground for children near Tasmanian devil area. My kids had a great time in the zoo.
