Things to do in Sapa

Visiting Sun World Fansipan Legend was an amazing experience and a definite highlight in Sapa. The cable car ride offered stunning views of the mountains and valleys. The voucher was very easy to use—no need to redeem anything, as the staff simply scan the QR codes at the entry points. Weather at Fansipan can change within minutes. It was foggy at first with no view, then the sun came out and cleared the fog, only for it to turn foggy again shortly after. Because of this, it’s best to check the weather on the Fansipan page before going up, as temperatures can drop to 1°C or even -3°C. If you choose the one-way tram to the peak, be prepared for a bit of walking and some steep stairs on the way to the next cable car ride. The views along the way are great and make the effort worth it. Overall, it was a smooth, memorable experience and highly recommended when visiting Sapa.

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Sapa! The alpine coaster was both fun and surprisingly scenic, you get beautiful views of the mountains and valleys even while zooming down the track. The ride feels safe, and I liked that you can control your own speed with the brakes. Great for both thrill-seekers and more cautious riders.

This was a Great trip tour. A very special shout out tour Guide Ms Dzi. She did a remarkable job in guding the tour. A fun loving guide she was. CAT CAT VILLAGE is superb but be aware asyouhv to scale up a lenghthy flightofsteep steps to get back from where you came from.

This tour was a great choice for us since it covers major attractions in Sapa. The weather at Fansipan top was amazing on the day of our visit. Our guide Yao is very caring and patiently explain local cultures and stuff. thanks to Yao for a great experience we had. Take note that Fansipan rides (cable car, tram) are not included in the package. overall, this is a wonderful choice! :)

Khu was our guide for today and she shared her local knowledge of the village. We managed to view all the scenic spots in the village and made the best out of it despite the weather. She was also very helpful towards my dad, who had some difficulties navigating the stairs. Overall, it was definitely worth the trip and I would recommend Khu as our guide.

Our tour guide Chung, brought 2 cars instead of 1 which is very considerate of him because there are 7 of us in the family. We appreciate his kind gesture of always being patient with us, especially when we take extra time to take pictures and walk (considering we have 2 seniors with us). He and the other driver took us to some amazing spots for photos and brought us back safely to the hotel. Highly recommend this private tour! 🌟

I just booked the impressive massage and herbal soak here while waiting to be checked in at my hotel. It was superb! Chuyen, who was my masseuse, was really good. I didnt leave the place aching. Aside from the expertise, the hospitality is really good. I am going to share this experience to family and friends.

TLDR: Chang is a lovely guide; wear trail shoes, hiking boots, or rent the boots – has a muddy section; solid value of you want to hike, get picturesque views, and learn about the region. Truly enjoyed this trip through the valley villages. Chang is an excellent guide and if you the Whatsapp message confirming that she's your give, you'll be in good hands. Views are amazing, people are lovely, just wear the right shoes or rent the boots before the trek starts. If you're in Sa Pa and want a half-day hike, I highly recommended this excursion. BTW, the trek itself isn't technically hard, but does become challenging if the unpaved sections through the terraces become muddy. Chang and a few locals had to support the group members one by one today to traverse that one muddy section. I imagine during the dry season this wouldn't be an issue. Anyway, do this trip and thank you so much, Chang 😊

Truly great experience and it's mostly because of our favorite tour guide for our whole trip, Ms. Sumy. She was very informative and loved her pace for the whole tour. We really love her calm yet bright energy! Towards the end, she gifted us handmade bracelets. Our Sapa trip will always be memorable because of her!
