Fantastic 5.0
It is affordable but only around 8 slides are opened, it would be better to visit it after they open up every slides!

Fantastic 5.0
We had a great time with a family at the Minera resort. A place full of relaxation with a lot of mineral pool and bath. Nice forest and crodolile feeding.

Fantastic 5.0
It wasn't as big as I expected, and even on a weekday, there were quite a few people. The pool was much smaller than I thought. The view was nice since it's on a mountain.

Fantastic 5.0
The trip was enjoyable and filled with valuable learning experiences. The locations we visited were wonderful, and our tour guide, Henry, was knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring throughout the journey.

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very informative and helpful. We didn't expect to be walking 900+ steps to the hands of the Jesus Christ Statue (and another 900+ steps back down) but the view was inside breathtaking. The beach was very warm and calm. Great sights for a day tour in Vung Tau City.

What to know before visiting Vung Tau

Top experiences and yearly rhythm

Vung Tau City is best known for its water parks, followed by a healthy mix of tours and cable car rides, with a small number of museum visits rounding out the list. Demand builds toward the end of the year, peaking in December, and is quietest in November, so the busiest experiences cluster around that year-end surge.

Best activities for families, couples, and solo travellers

Families will gravitate to the water parks — they dominate bookings and suit a wide range of ages and group sizes. Couples often pick tours and cable-car outings for scenic, relaxed days out where you can enjoy views together. Solo travellers and small groups will find cable cars and shorter tours easy to slot into flexible itineraries, while museums offer the cheapest entry point for budget-minded visitors.

What travellers from the Philippines should book ahead

Most things in Vung Tau can be arranged at short notice, but the earliest planners still book about a day ahead; that matters most in December when demand peaks. If you’re travelling at year-end, secure popular water-park slots, scenic cable-car rides or well-run tours a little earlier to avoid disappointment.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, lowest-cost way to get into Vung Tau’s attractions, appealing to budget visitors and those after a quiet cultural stop. Water parks are mid-range in price and attract families and groups looking for all-day fun. Tours span the widest price range, offering everything from entry-level options to pricier packages, so they suit travellers seeking flexibility in budget and experience. Cable cars sit in the mid-to-lower price band and are ideal for couples and small groups wanting scenic viewpoints without a big spend.
