This is the second time I've taken this tour, and I loved wandering through the alleys and seeing all the different things. The 2-hour tour is perfect. I recommend it for kids who are middle school age and older. Also, the guide was a woman who spoke Korean very well. She was very informative and friendly. I think I'll do it again next time. Best experience in Bangkok! This was a one-of-a-kind experience, really loved the route of this bike tour as it feels very “complete”: 1) takes you on an immersive experience passing through small alleys in the local neighborhoods, 2) passes by big roads as well, 3) passes by different temples and palaces, 4) of course passes by chao praya river, 5) even goes through khao san road! ,6) and lastly ends at the flower market. Really loved our tour guide Bet, very accomodating and helpful, even offered free snacks. Tour comes with free water as well and bikes tailored to your height. Definitely doing this again when we go back to Bangkok and recommending it to our fellow friend travellers. 11/10!

Joined the Damnoen Floating Market & Maeklong Railway Market tour via Klook and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was well-organized from start to finish. The transport was comfortable, timing was efficient, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Maeklong Railway Market was a once-in-a-lifetime experience — watching vendors calmly move their stalls as the train passed right through was unreal and exciting. Truly iconic Thailand vibes. Damnoen Floating Market was colorful and lively. Loved the boat ride through the canals, local food, fresh fruits, and unique souvenirs. It felt authentic and vibrant, perfect for photos and cultural experience. Overall, it was smooth, fun, and stress-free. Great value for money and perfect for first-time visitors to Thailand. Would definitely book with Klook again And noni and jenny the travel guide is awesome!!!

I had a great experience on the Ayutthaya Temples One Day Tour from Bangkok. The English join-in tour was well organized and easy to follow. Our host, Nicky Xiang, was excellent. She explained the history and meaning of each monument clearly and made the visit very interesting. Her knowledge really brought the temples to life. At the end of the tour, she gave everyone a special prayer blessing, which was a beautiful and thoughtful way to end the day. Overall, it was an enjoyable, informative, and meaningful experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok and wanting to explore Ayutthaya.

Safari World is actually quite interesting. You can experience feeding various types of animals, but everything costs extra... Especially since they don't allow you to bring your own water inside.... I recommend the bird park; it's only 100 Thai Baht. The birds provide a lot of emotional value, and even if you don't have food, they still flutter around you. The giraffe feeding experience is also great. It's quite unique inside that you can feed kangaroos!! The buffet doesn't have a huge variety, but I thought it was quite delicious, and the fish ball soup was tasty!! Our tour guide this time was CHOPIN. She was very responsible and enthusiastic. She created a lively atmosphere on the bus, explained basic Thai history and culture, and also gave us a simple animal tour. She answered every question and deserves a 5-star rating!!

What to know before visiting Bangkok

Top Attractions in Bangkok City, Thailand

The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew

When you visit Bangkok, the Grand Palace is a must-see. It’s the city’s most famous landmark, home to Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The golden roofs and detailed Thai architecture show Bangkok’s royal history and rich cultural heritage.

Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)

Across the Chao Phraya River from the Grand Palace, Wat Arun is one of the most beautiful temples in Bangkok. You can climb its tall central tower for amazing city views, especially during sunrise or sunset when the temple glows in the light.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

Shop like a local at Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok’s most famous shopping spots. With thousands of stalls, you’ll find clothes, art, plants, and souvenirs. Don’t forget to try the local street food, from mango sticky rice to coconut ice cream.

Khao San Road

For a taste of Bangkok’s nightlife, head to Khao San Road. The street is filled with bars, live music, and food stalls that stay open late. It’s also a nice place to meet other travelers and experience Bangkok’s energetic atmosphere.

Siam Paragon and MBK Center

In Bangkok’s city center, Siam Paragon and MBK Center are two of the largest shopping malls. You’ll find fashion stores, restaurants, and even aquariums inside. It’s the perfect spot to cool off, shop, and enjoy modern Bangkok life.

Tips before visiting Bangkok

1. Stay Connected with an eSIM

Before arriving in Bangkok, set up a Thailand eSIM so you can easily use maps, translation apps, and rideshare services like Grab. You can buy one online before your trip or at Bangkok International Airport. Having internet access makes getting around the Bangkok metropolis much easier.

2. Dress Code at Religious Sites

When visiting Bangkok’s temples, like the Grand Palace or Wat Pho, you must dress modestly. Cover your shoulders and knees, and avoid sleeveless tops or short skirts. Respecting the dress code shows appreciation for Thai culture and local traditions.

3. Greeting Customs

The traditional Thai greeting is the wai, you press your palms together and give a small bow. You’ll often see this gesture when meeting locals or thanking someone in Bangkok. It’s a polite and respectful way to connect with people during your visit.

4. Tipping Practices

Tipping isn’t required in Bangkok, but it’s always appreciated. Leave small change for good service at restaurants, hotels, or taxis. Even a small tip shows gratitude and helps support the friendly service culture in Bangkok.

5. Market Haggling

Shopping at places like Chatuchak Weekend Market or Patpong Night Market is a fun part of visiting Bangkok. Bargaining is normal, so don’t be shy to negotiate politely for a better price.
