Fantastic We had a wonderful experience taking the high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Nanjing South and back. The train was clean, comfortable, and incredibly fast, making our journey smooth and convenient. The seats were spacious, the ride was quiet, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. The stations were well-organized, and the entire experience was easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone traveling between Shanghai and Nanjing!

Entry and exit is via our passports, arrive an hour earlier to do the ID checks counter (manual lane -for passports)/clearance checks for bags. Easy to locate the counter for specific train - boarding time is usually 15mins before departure. Highly recommended to book first class but comfort level of the ride depends which train is assigned for the route-some are newer and cleaner, while some are old & not very clean.

The seats were comfortable and spacious, allowing me to fully extend my legs. The service was punctual, and they even provided a complimentary box set of snacks during the journey. Overall, it was excellent.
