I arrived at The Ocean Terminal at around 8pm. It was difficult to find the beginning of the queue, it turns out that it is formed in the shopping centre, there are no signs or markings, I had to look for it by asking the staff, to whom I am immensely grateful. At 8:40 I got in the queue, which in my opinion was at least 1 kilometre at that time. I started to get disappointed and thought I wouldn't make it, but it was in vain, as at 9:30 I was already standing on the roof of the car park, from where I watched the fireworks. So I had to stand for 2.5 hours in one place, literally without moving, because there were people sitting or standing close to me, so my legs were sore after the fireworks:). But if you ask me if it was worth the time, money and effort, I can say with certainty - yes, it was and I do not regret anything. The fireworks in Hong Kong is one of the best in the world in my opinion, I don't always have such an opportunity to get out personally, so I am insanely satisfied. From myself I can safely say that whoever is thinking to take or save on a free view from the waterfront my answer - take this voucher from klook, because you will find better conditions otherwise you will have to take places from 2-3 hours of the day on the waterfront, as many photographers did. My advice is to arrive no later than 9pm, a friend of mine arrived at 10 and ended up not being able to work out how to get through and was looking from an awkward spot.
Go exchange the sticker to enter the event near the Lane Crawford entrance at 8 pm (many people have already arrived in line). Then walk up to the parking lot, rooftop, and find a corner you like. There are a lot of people but you can stand without being crowded. Bring a small folding chair, a tripod, water, snacks, and any other accessories. / When you return, you have to walk back to the hotel because the skytrain is closed and you can't get off.
unforgettable experience with the family! we witnessed how HK celebrates new year with a lot of fireworks display
First time to witness the spectacular fireworks display on New Year’s eve at harbour city with the whole family
It's just so-so. I bought the ticket half a month in advance. It said that it was sold out, but there were still tickets on site. I felt cheated. There was no guidance on site where to check tickets and where to queue. I just had to ask passers-by. But the staff in Hong Kong are really enthusiastic and must be praised. The view is excellent when I get up there, but just as the countdown was about to start, a few people in the front row stood up and blocked the view. Fortunately, I didn't block myself, but what about the people behind him? Except for the flagpole blocking the view, I think it is better than Tsim Sha Tsui and Avenue of Stars in all aspects. When the countdown starts with 10 seconds, the fireworks are much more shocking than watching downstairs. There are public toilets, a wide view, and music. It's not as crowded as downstairs that you can't move. Anyway, my evaluation is 7 points for the enthusiastic staff + excellent view. 3 points for the lack of signs when queuing and the lack of quality of the people in the front row who climbed up without the warning of the staff at the beginning. I posted a few pictures for everyone to appreciate. My evaluation of Harbour City is still very good this time.
Good spot to view the fireworks peacefully but wish the process to redeem was a bit easier. there was a long queue to get through but overall a good experience.
If you ever visit Hong Kong, please please do this activity! It was amazing, 10/10 worth it! Klook area is separated and I had a lot of space for myself.
It was very clear. We went up to watch the fireworks at 7:30 and could see a very clear picture. There was no need for a human. It was just a little crowded when we left, but we could slowly enjoy the view of the Ocean Terminal and check in slowly. It was a great time on the first day of the Chinese New Year. Twenty points of happiness 😚😚🩷💝
I am very satisfied. The ticket exchange place is easy to find and the line moves quickly, so it's stress-free. The night view is easy to see, and you can see it beautifully even if you go late at night. It's important to watch it near the exit because there are a lot of people. It gets crowded.
I am very satisfied with the venue. The fireworks are very close and bright. I can hear the music accompanied by the banging sound. It is a wonderful fireworks feast! The photos taken were not as good as those taken on site. Because I had a charity voucher from Klook, I decided to go there to see it. After all, there was crowd control and it took a lot of time to get in and out.
