itinerary: The driver Pak Eri is very kind to WhatsApp me a day before and provide the itinerary for the next day. We enjoyed the coffee plantation, paper hill cafe and the awesome jeep tour guide: Mr Mad dwi our jeep driver is very good in driving jeep with safety. He is also a very good photographer for my family
On the way to the Jeep Tour, we stopped for a coffee and tea tasting. It was raining heavily, and we were kindly escorted from the car with umbrellas. Here, we also had the opportunity to taste Luwak coffee for the first time. We were very happy that it was included in the tour and thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The Jeep Tour was a truly great excursion. Our guide was very friendly, told us a lot about the island, took great care with our photos, and even spoke to us in German based on his experience with tourists. We can highly recommend this tour, especially for sunset (much quieter than at sunrise)! Thank you for this experience!
23 year old Komang was the best guide I could ask for cause the pictures he took of me was fire 🔥 He also allowed me to play my own playlist on his phone and blast it thru his Bluetooth speakers so the drive up was all vibes while singing to the songs. I went during the rainy season so less people, less jeeps going up which is a plus point. It was cold though because of the rain but I got lucky and actually saw the sun come out for awhile. I went alone but Komang made me feel comfortable the whole time. he gave me my personal space when I wanted to enjoy the view in peace. Thanks to Komang for making the whole experience worth my money!
Our driver, erix, was also good and recommended only good places like restaurants and tourist attractions, which was great! Neither of us enjoy coffee, so when we asked if he could recommend something else since there was a coffee-related tour during the itinerary, he immediately recommended something and changed it for us! He also recommended local restaurants so we could eat deliciously, and since we were supposed to see the sunset in Bitur and return to our accommodation, we wanted to eat seafood at Jimbaran Beach in the evening, so we were going to talk about it, but he must have heard our conversation and said that if we wanted to eat dinner in Jimbaran first, we could, and he recommended a restaurant in Jimbaran, waited for us, and took us straight to the hotel. He was really the best driver! The jeep driver on the Batur tour was also very good at taking pictures! He drove smoothly and took really great pictures, so it was a very satisfying trip❤️ I want to use him again next time! Everyone should use him!
The schedule was from 11:30 to 20:30 and erix came to pick me up. Although the product I paid was mainly for sightseeing, he contacted me the day before the pick up to ask if I wanted to have lunch or see the nice view and said he would make a good day for me. It was a ray of hope for me, who came on Jiyu Travel, to hear that. When I said I wanted to see the nice view, he made a plan for me to go to 1. coffee farm & swing 2. cafe 3. restaurant 4. Bartusan tour at no additional cost. There was traffic on the day of the reservation, so I was picked up at 11:40 and arrived at the hotel around 21:30. For reference, I left from Seminyak. It takes about 2 hours from Bartusan to Seminyak without a stopover. The time commitment can't be helped, but you'll understand when you get there and go out on the road. (It seems worse than the traffic conditions in Jjajangmyeon that you often see in videos. Only the strong survive^^) It was hard to find someone who could speak Korean, so I used a translator even though I don’t speak English. So I just said the necessary words and gave the driver some time to spare after arriving at the spot, and he waited outside… I felt sorry and comfortable… I’m embarrassed to upload pictures, but it was a work of art. 1. Coffee farm & swing - You have to buy luwak coffee, and they give you 10 kinds of coffee and tea to taste in espresso cups. By the way, luwak coffee is very bitter, but based on experience, I recommend trying it. Everything in the testing cups was delicious except for ginger tea. I said I wanted to ride the swing but I was scared and couldn’t. There’s a funny anecdote, but when I took a picture of foreigners riding it and sent it to my family, they seriously asked if I was watching a circus ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, 2. Cafe Paperhills - Drinking Bintang beer while taking in the view is crazy. 3. Restaurant - I couldn't go because of time, so I ate at a cafe. 4. Bartusan - I went to the jeep boarding area and transferred. I went up while breathing in exhaust fumes in a cute yellow car that would not be strange if it spread at any time. A cotton mask would be good, but if it's too much trouble, bring a thick mask like KF94. I wore a thin KF mask sold at a convenience store, and my nose was stuffy when I got to the hotel, so it was like I went on a coal mine tour. If you touch your face often, it would be better to bring hand sanitizer. You shouldn't expect a nice car. People here don't drive nice cars. Since the road up is rough, you can go there smiling if you put on some music and let your body move to the swaying rhythm. It was cloudy so I couldn't see the sunset, but it was still nice. I didn't ask the jeep driver's name, but he apologized and dusted me off whenever he had time. He also spoke a little Korean. He took pictures like art. Both drivers were kind, so I gave him a little tip. erix, Thank you for making the best day! Thank you so much😊
The view from the paperhills cafe with Idra, the pick-up driver, is so amazing. You will probably be surprised the moment you enter. After arriving at the camp, we took a sunset tour in a beautiful yellow jeep with Alan, the jeep driver. Since it was a tour with a child, Alan took great care of our child, which was appreciated. Unlike the sunrise tour, there weren't many people, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the tour quietly. Alan also took many pretty pictures for us, so it was great to make memories. I recommend the sunset tour on Mount Batur. 😀
The staff is really amazing , enjoyed having talks with them , sharing unforgettable moments . Tutta the driver is really nice , he showed us the area while he took us in the spring water , enjoyed the ride with him . will recommand him for my friends for sure
an **exciting and memorable trip**. Here are the highlights: 1. **Hot Springs**: - The hot springs were **excellent**. Soaking in the warm waters was incredibly relaxing, and it added a soothing touch to our adventure. - However, there was a slight hiccup. The tour description mentioned a hotspring at Toya, but we were taken to a **next-door hotspring** instead. Despite this, the experience was still enjoyable. 2. **Mountain Views**: - The view from the mountain was **amazing**! We gazed out over the landscape, taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings. It's a sight I won't forget. 3. **Peaceful Village**: - The village we visited was tranquil and charming. It felt like stepping back in time, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. 4. **Super Nice Drivers**: - Our drivers were friendly, accommodating, and made the journey even better. Their positive attitude added to the overall enjoyment of the tour. In summary, despite the minor mix-up with the hotspring location, this short tour provided a delightful blend of relaxation, scenic beauty, and friendly service. I'd recommend it to others!
thank you so much to our lovely guide Dika and our driver mang. This tour was amazing, we opted to have lunch in kintamani which was delicious and we got a great view whilst eating. then we met with our Jeep driver and guide Dika and drove up the volcano to watch the sunset. Dika took so many great photos of myself and my mother, and was very friendly. the sunset was beautiful, and the night time sky of stars was breathtaking. would recommend this tour to anyone!!!
Amazing trip. Our guide Indra and the jeep drivers were wonderful and very friendly. They are very professional in taking very nice photos of us. Had a great time in both the Paperhills Cafe and Mount Batur.
