Reviews
Summer is low season but we had great fun doing the caving and kayaing. The coaches were very friendly and caring to our young kids. highly recommend this trip to families who want to explore culture and natural scenary of Chiang Mai!
had an absolutely lovely time, Aiden who runs the tours picked us up personally because we were out of the catch zone but close to him, took us to the office and set us up for the day, we travelled with the tour guide A who was an absolute delight and extremely knowledgeable, kind and funny. We had a great time 100/10 highly recommend! we did do the kayaking on a particularly peaceful day so the waters were very relaxed, everything very safe and lunch was great
We had an awesome time with Jane and his team. The cave was amazing: many bats, and spiders & crickets! we did have to crawl through some spaces and a few areas with steep stairs, so wear comfortable clothes and shoes with good grip. The temple grounds were stunning next to the Doi Luang mountain range. Lunch was simple and filling. My kids favorite part was the kayaking, they had double kayaks for our younger kids so parents were able to be with the the whole time. Our guides were fun and energetic. The one note I would share to prepare anyone who books this tour: you are basically riding a songthaew from Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao and back. Its an 1.5 hr drive but the provide lots of cold water and a rest stop for snacks. Just know it’s not a plush ride, but fun and adventurous nonetheless.
very prompt pickup, guided us through the cave, and a good meal (pad Thai) and taught us safety on the kayak, someone fell in and they gave their full support in helping them.
Since it was off-season, I was the only one. However, the tour guide was still very enthusiastic in introducing the scenic spots to me. I think the Chiang Mai Cave is really worth visiting inside. It is very shocking! And you can also take less popular routes! While kayaking, you can see some animals, such as a herd of buffaloes, which I find very interesting.
I am very satisfied with this trip. The tour guide is excellent and took good care of me along the way.
The hotel pick-up service is very convenient. It takes about 5 hours to get to Qingdao Cave from the ancient city. It takes about an hour to visit Qingdao Cave. After lunch, it’s time for canoeing. It’s very fun. There are people accompanying you the whole time. It’s my first time to kayak alone. The wooden boat is also very safe.
Jojo the guide was absolutley brilliant 10/10, so friendly knowledgeable and nice to be around. the caves are amazing with a local guide to take you through as well. it's past the tourist season when I went (March) so it was pretty much empty we didn't come across any other groups inside only at the entrance. lunch was tasty (veg available) and was ready super fast. kayaking was so beautiful, and river empty except for locals fishing.
Canoeing is really fun. You need to have a good understanding of each other in a group. Most of the river water is calm, and only a small part is slightly turbulent. It is considered a very safe trip.
Our tour guides Jane and Tony took good care of us. They were funny and informative. Lots of wild bats and spiders in the cave. Scenery was beautiful during kayaking. Love this trip.
