Reviews
the tour guide was great! thanks for helping us navigate the city. the Japanese barbecue was amazing and my son loved the sushi
An excellent tour! We went to the best shops and ate the best food - places I would not have found myself. In Akihabara some of the best places are quite well hidden, so it is definitely worth going around with an expert! The tour was led by a really friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgable guide - he made the tour special. The food was excellent!
Yumi-san gave me a personal tour of Akihabara’s main attractions because I must’ve been the only person signed up on that day! We first walked over to Kanda Myoujin shrine associated with prosperity, good luck, and marriage followed by a meal at a yakiniku restaurant serving wagyu. We next wandered through shops selling various anime/manga merchandise including the iconic Radio Kaikan and Mandarake. finally, we rounded out the tour at a sushi restaurant. All throughout the tour, Yumi-san was very attentive and a great conversationalist so I got to learn about Japan through the eyes of a native resident!
Hiromi san was punctual and met us at the designated place on time. After a brief meet and greet, we started shopping at different stores. She also brought us to a Japanese restaurant for lunch and the food there was excellent. We also went to a maid’s cafe for some dessert and it was an entertaining experience that we have never tried. Overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon with my family and with Hiromi’s planned itinerary.
It was a really great time and I had a blast! The food spots that we went to were tasty and all the stops were cool as well.
Great experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy Japanese cuisine.
Thank you Chisato for guiding me around Abihabara
