The entire pick up and drop off is flawless! very convenient and fuss free! definitely worth it to visit rottnest and its cute quoka! FWIW, cycling can be a little exhausting given the slopes and sun.

Amazing day trip to Rottnest Island! 🌊☀️ The whole tour was smooth, well-organized, and enjoyable from start to finish. Ferry ride with beautiful ocean views, and everything was on time [IS A MAST!]. Rottnest Island itself was stunning crystal clear water, scenic beaches, and plenty of spots to explore. We rented bikes and had such a fun time cycling around the island. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Of course, seeing the famous quokkas was a highlight! 🐾📸 Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Perth. A perfect mix of adventure and nature. Would definitely do it again!

booking with klook is so convenient! you can just hop in the ferry. read the review that you need to verify but during my visit they said I can just scan qr and hop in to the ferry. but the only thing that I don’t like is you can’t choose the time to get off (only 16:00) but you can tell the staff there.

Plenty of parking nearby the jetty.I did request to change the return timing at the ticketing booth, glad that it was possible. She also help to print a QR tix for the staff to scan it at the boarding area. It was a pleasant trip. Just be there like 30mins early as the queue can be long.

Ferry & Bike Trip Tips – Rottnest Island 1. Bike Rental – Book Ahead • Do get booking confirmation ready to proof bike rental for collection of bike at the island. E-ticket is suffice to board the ferry. 2. Food Options • Barrack Street Jetty (Perth departure point): limited breakfast choices ( mostly not opened on Sat morning). • On the island: Dôme Café offers decent dining experience. 3. Best Cycling Route • Take the scenic Parker Point Road loop (approx. 20 km round trip). • Expect slopes throughout – ensure you’re fit for the ride. • Spring riding is enjoyable, though the wind can feel cold. 4. Alternative Transport • Hop-on, hop-off Island Explorer bus available – tickets can be purchased at the jetty. 5. Wildlife Spotting • Quokkas are seen near the supermarket area, no need to search far. 6. Ferry Seating • Arrive at the jetty minimum 30 min early to secure an upper-deck seat for the best views.

The ferry service was good. The sea was very calm, so none of us got seasick. The ferry was clean and departed on time; it wasn't crowded. The ticket collection process could be better. The staff never mentioned that I needed to first go to the ticket counter to redeem the ticket. I went directly to the ferry, and the person there told me to go back to the ticket counter to collect the ticket. Fortunately, I had enough time to go get the ticket and return in time. Otherwise, if the ferry was about to depart, it would have been very difficult. Aside from that, Rottnest Island was very nice. We got to ride bikes; renting a bike was an additional cost. Overall, it was a good experience.

A must to go place when you visit Perth - Rottnest Island! Visiting Rottnest Island was one of my favourite experiences during my trip to Perth. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the stunning scenery. The crystal-clear blue water, beautiful beaches, and peaceful surroundings made me feel completely relaxed. The highlight of my visit was definitely meeting the famous quokkas. They were even cuter than I expected! Seeing them hopping around freely and getting the chance to take photos with these adorable little creatures was such a special moment. It was impossible not to smile whenever I saw them. Rottnest Island is more than just a tourist attraction—it’s a place where you can slow down, appreciate nature, and create wonderful memories. I left with so many beautiful photos, but more importantly, with memories that I’ll always treasure. If I ever return to Perth, Rottnest Island will definitely be at the top of my list to visit again.
