JR Kyushu Fukuoka Wide Area Mobile Pass

I used this pass to travel to Kurume and Kokura. I've been to Shimonoseki twice before, so I skipped it this time. Kurume wasn't actually in my plans, but a train happened to be there, so I just hopped on for a 'P's Trip' and searched online to see the giant Buddha statue. For reference, you can take bus number 31 or 35 (310 yen) from Kurume Station and walk for 5-10 minutes. Then, the next day, I went to Kokura to eat burdock root udon and go shopping at 2nd Street, lol. Fukuoka is expensive, so Kokura has more affordable brands. Especially Niko and... it's pretty and the vintage items are cheap, so I found some great deals. If you feel a barrier in Fukuoka, you can shop for various things in Kokura, lol. When you take the train, they come to check your ticket, so you have to turn it on and show it on the internet. Sonic trains have unreserved seats in cars 4-7...

Mobile JR pass is very convenient to use. Just show the phone to the train officer. no more paper pass. however sometimes the officer at the gate is busy. may need to wait in line for a while. The price for 2 days ¥3500 is a good deal. Highly recommend

Just show it to the train people in charge at the train gate entrance area then can go in. Very easy to use. Ensure your hp is well connected to data then can use. Use this pass can save and is very worthwhile! Good to use for travel between hakata station & kitakyushu!

Highly recommended if you plan a two-day trip in from Fukuoka to KitaKyushu area! I found it very convenient and very value for money. It is easy to use but just make sure you have internet connection.

First you scan the QR code to activate the pass. Then you show the pass to the JR train staff for entry. You could ask the train staff platform number the destination you want to go. The Entire process is smooth. Do note : Yufuin no mori limited express is not applicable to this pass. Because it is seat reserved limited express train. Being a newbie, I manage to board train to Mojiko, kokura on the first day and 2nd day to Tosu Premium Outlets and Kurume. If you are lucky, you got the express sonic train or regional express train, which I am lucky to board them in the 2 days. Saved a lot of travel time. Highly recommended anyone who is not familiar with train system. Just chose the destination, ask the train staff for the platform number, read the sign for incoming train time and destination for. Most of the time you got them right. Even if you make mistake, just board the next train, no additional charge. Thank you Klook for this offer. I will buy it again in my next visit. 🥰

From Hakata Station, I took the JR Fukuoka Wide Area Edition ticket and took a train for about 1.5 hours to Kokura Castle in Kitakyushu. Along the way, the car first passed through small villages with mountains and fields like Taitung, and then got off at Kokura Station. , as soon as you exit the station, you will see the bustling city scene. Not long after walking past the art museum, there are the historical sites of Kokura Castle and Yasaka Shrine. This Baidu Stone is the starting point for visiting the main shrine. Great and inexpensive pass for taking day trips out of Fukuoka. Very convenient for usage in a group, as all under one phone screen and easy to go through train gate. Coverage area was good. Was able to visit Kitakyushu area, Karato market, the Outlets, Uminonakamichi seaside park and Nanzoin temple.

Please note that if you go to Karatsu, you need to get off at Karatsu Station. It is not recommended to go to Nishi-Karatsu Station because there are no staff. It is convenient to go to the shopping port and the Huzi Morning Market, but be aware that there are more cars on Saturdays and Sundays and there is a chance of traffic jams. If possible, try to go on a weekday, and go early, because some businesses, such as the ones that buy sea urchins, are sold out. will leave. If you know how to take the Showa Bus for several trips, you can buy a bus ticket through the Japanese version app store download myroute (the two-day version includes the Express Showa Bus first). If the weather is good, it's worth taking a boat out from the pier to see the Seven Cauldrons. The boat will go to the entrance of the cave. It's so magical. The sushi at Karato Market next to Shimonoseki in Moji Port is super delicious and fresh. The grilled curry rice is delicious, the eggs and cheese are delicious.

Its very easy and comfortable to use. And, it was very cheap — i was able to visit Karatsu in Saga and Mojiko in Kitakyushu ising this mobile pass. I will definitely avail on this again on my return to Fukuoka.
