Oludeniz Tandem Paragliding from Fethiye

Paragliding in Fethiye was the most wonderful experience and the happiest moment of this trip. The view of Ölüdeniz Beach and the blue sea from the sky will remain in my memory for a lifetime. Highly recommend!! I booked for 10 am and they picked me up from my accommodation in Fethiye at 9 am. When we arrived, I left my luggage and took the car again to climb Mount Babadag, and it felt like we were climbing for a good 40 minutes? The road was so rough that I understood what they meant by saying the road up is scarier. Anyway, we went all the way to the top, but the wind was too strong, so we went down to a lower spot to paraglide. I did it with a person named Chachi, who was very kind and had the feeling of an expert. After gliding, we were just spinning around in the same spot for a while, so I wondered what was going on, but while everyone else had already gone far away and was already in a low place, we started from a very high place and went straight down. Really the best 👍 He didn't talk much while riding, but he took a lot of photos and videos with the GoPro. After finishing the ride and coming down, it was around 12 pm. He connected the GoPro to the computer and sent it to my phone, and I gave him 1250 lira (about 45,000 won) in cash separately. I guess it wasn't included even though I booked something that was included..😅 At 1:30 pm, they took me back in the car and dropped me off in front of my accommodation! I think it was because it was the off-season in November, but there weren't many people, so it was comfortable. It's easy to book, paragliding is fun, and the system is clean, so I highly recommend it!!

Perfect trip! They picked me up from the hotel on time, waited a bit near the beach, and then headed up the mountain. The instructors rode with us, and they assigned instructors in the car. I happened to be sitting next to Meme (hope I spelled that right). He asked if it was my first time flying, and I said yes. He said it was his too (ha, he actually has 17 years of flying experience). The car spiraled upwards on the mountain road, and he offered me gum, which successfully eased my anxiety. Due to the wind, we took off from 2000 meters at the summit. We were the last to depart, waiting for the wind. Once we took off, I completely relaxed, it was as smooth as being in a 3D movie theater, and the ocean view was simply gorgeous. The instructor carefully observed my condition, took photos, and chatted (he knows how to say "茄子 [qié zi]", haha), making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. Finally, we landed safely, and I gave him a high-five to thank him. Wishing him safe flights.

The pickup time was 15 minutes past the pre-reserved pickup time. After going to the paragliding site, the pilot said that the GoPro he brought was broken and that another GoPro would be brought by the next vehicle, so we had to wait for an hour at the summit before we were able to paraglide. I think it is problematic to set off without checking the equipment in advance and check for equipment failure right before paragliding. If the equipment was life-threatening, it would have been a disaster if there was a problem during paragliding, but it seems that such preparation was not sufficient. Paragliding itself was so awesome that I forgot about waiting at the summit for an hour. It seems that other people should thoroughly check their equipment in advance so that similar problems do not occur in the future.

We had an amazing paragliding experience with our pilots Muhammet and K. Çağlar! They were both very professional, friendly, and made us feel completely safe from takeoff to landing. The views were breathtaking, and they made the whole flight so much fun. Definitely one of the best experiences we had in Ölüdeniz!

The booking service was convenient, and I appreciated the instant communication via WhatsApp. I went alone, but everyone was friendly and explained things well, so there were no issues at all. As for the paragliding, it was simply perfect – the weather, scenery, safety, and service! They enthusiastically took photos and videos, and I had a fun gliding experience haha. I really enjoyed paragliding, especially when things got a bit more exciting. The moments with a bit of action made the experience even better. It was a fun and memorable way to spend the day.

The coach was really professional both at paragliding and photo shooting! The flight was smooth and quite exciting!
