This was just the Audio tour to go with the walk to the summit. I forgot to pick it up before climbing to the summit.. though I picked it up on the way back and sat in the shade and listened to it. Dont forget to get your certificate after returning the device. The ticket said that it did not include ear buds though they gave me a set. The actual climb to the top was fun with some challenging sections. Especially the 99 steps which are near vertical. Dont forget to book your entry to the park. Also you can enter anytime if you do not have a car.
If you visit Hawaii, you shouldn't miss going to Diamond Head. To me, anyone can do it. I hiked there with my mom and 70-year-old aunt and we enjoyed it very much although it took us 2 hours for roundtrip as we spent most of our time taking pictures and appreciating the views, it's worth a try. I recommend to do in the morning as the weather is not too warm/hot. It's pretty windy up there so make sure you prepare enough clothes.
