Had an exhilarating parasailing experience with Somnang Watersports! The whole process was smooth and well-organised, and the staff were very caring and attentive, making us feel safe throughout. No special attire is needed, which made it very convenient. We opted to pay an extra 500 baht (paid directly on the boat) for professional photos and were also loaned a GoPro to capture our own videos during the parasailing, sent to us via a downloadable link for hi-res photos & videos—definitely worth it for the memories! We chose the evening slot and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset view while on the boat, which made the experience even more special. The parasailing ride itself was quite short (less than 10 minutes), but still incredibly fun and memorable. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended if you’re looking for a quick thrill with amazing views!

I tried parasailing for the first time in my life. To cut to the chase... it's "an activity you absolutely have to experience at least once!" As the boat picked up speed, my body was gently lifted into the air, and before I knew it, I was taking a walk in the sky above the sea. A pleasant breeze that wasn't too strong, the endless blue sea, and islands visible in the distance. It was the best scenery, like I had stepped into drone footage. It's very quiet in the air, and the feeling of comfort outweighs any fear. The extraordinary feeling is amazing, and it was a happy time just looking at the sky and the sea. Honestly, it was so much fun that it felt like a flash (about 3 minutes). It goes by so quickly that you'll think, "It's over already!?" and you'll want to ride longer (lol). A few things to note. The only thing I was a little concerned about was that I wish they would clarify in advance whether it's a single or double ride. I heard on the beach that "two people can ride together", but in reality, it was one person at a time. My wife was initially anxious, but in the end, she was very satisfied, saying, "It was so much fun!" Rather, it seems it was better to have the scenery all to herself.

Somnam is located at the central of Patong beach, and easy to find. The activity started on time. It was super fun and fly super high up in the air! body fully secured, and I feel safe while I was flying. this is the activity must try when you’re in Phuket! highly recommended :)

It was a wonderful experience. They were flexible with additional activities, and when they realized we were Japanese, they made a great effort to engage with us in Japanese. It was over in a flash, but we made the best memories. Thank you! Even if you're a big person over 240 lbs, it's perfectly fine, so give it a try! The following information is not about this company's services, but since they seem to be in partnership, I'll provide it. Drone photography during parasailing costs 1000 baht per person. I thought it was expensive, but I paid for it. The video was beautiful, so I'm pretty satisfied. I think it would have been amazing if we could have captured the sunset at 5 PM. Try to negotiate the price down. The henna tattoo was 500 baht after negotiation, and the aloe application was 200 baht at the asking price. I paid for it, thinking it was expensive, but if possible, negotiate the price before receiving the service. If it seems too high, clearly refuse it.

Everyone was so kind and even took videos for us. Overall, it was super fun, but it's way longer than I expected!!!!! I was imagining it would be about 5 minutes, but when I checked the videos they took, it was over 15 minutes in total. It's really way longer than I expected! My friend fell out of the boat at one point, but it just kept going for another 10 minutes like nothing happened. But it was still super fun!! I thought it was a good value! However, people who get seasick easily or the elderly should be careful!

this was by far my favourite experience in Phuket, I arrived and was immediately harnessed up and off we went. glad I chose an afternoon session so we basically parasailed into the sunset. you have an option to take a GoPro with you to record your POV (definitely recommend this) and it’s a good length of time. then a drink on the beach right after, perfect afternoon!
