Reviews summaryOn the outbound journey, you arrive at the Cultural Village earlier than the opening time. First, you go shopping in the shopping street outside, and prepare to enter the park at about 12:00. Just show the QR code emailed to you by Tandao Travel Agency. There is a canoe celebration ceremony near the entrance. Find a seat and wait. The performance starts at 12:30 and the celebration ends at about 13:00. After that, you can start a free tour of the 6 islands. The driver on the way out will tell you the bus number. You can have dinner starting at 16:30. The performance starts at 19:30 (you can be seated at 19:10). It is a very exciting performance. It ends at 20:50. Walk slowly back to the entrance to find the bus with the corresponding number and get on (the outbound and return journeys are on the same bus number, but different vehicles) , so do not put your belongings in the car), return to downtown Waikiki at about 10:20
I experienced Polynesian culture and there were many things to experience and see. I had a fun day with the kids. I am also satisfied with the schedule. Most of the staff were friendly and nice. Even though I showed my Klook reservation voucher when I got out of the car and issued the ticket, the staff asked me to show something else, so I had a hard time issuing the ticket. It took some time for the staff to issue me a ticket, but I was very worried that I might not be able to enter during that time. The driver also served as a guide and told us many different stories along the way. The ride back to the accommodation in the evening was taken by a different driver, who drove safely and was friendly. I thought the morning driver would do the same thing in the evening, so I gave him a full tip and got off the car in the morning, but I was surprised when the driver changed. The buffet had a variety of foods, but it didn't suit our family's tastes so we didn't eat well, so I don't think we'll use it next time. The evening performance was fun because you could see all 6 cultures and there was a fire show at the end. Overall, I am very satisfied.
It was easy to locate shuttle bus pick up location. Check the schedules of the shows you want to see so you can cover all,one day is not enough. The gateway buffet was ok but i do hope that Klook will have the luau package too and not just the standard buffet package. The Ha Breath of Life is worthy of the price, very entertaining from start to finish. Top show tour when in Hawaii.
The motorcoach pickup was smooth but very busy. if arrive late, you may end up up with individual seats. the bus ride was about an hour and half. The cultural event was extremely well organized with timed activities throughout the day. More than enough for one day! There were lots of friendly staff around to help with questions. Bathrooms were scattered throughout and was amazingly clean and well stocked. Buffet was excellent with lots of variety. Highly recommend attraction.
Visiting Polynesian Cultural Center is 1 of the MUST things to do if you're in Oahu. There're a lots to explore there and you cannot finish it within a day but if you buy the ticket/package, the tickect lasts for 3 days. Although it takes 1.20 hour ride on a coach or less by a pesonal car, it's worth going. The place is close every Wednesdays so make sure the ticket you buy doesn't fall on Wednesday in case you want to revisit. The dinner buffet is good, and the finale show, Hā Breath of Life was fantastic and you shouldn't miss this one. You should spend at least a day here coz it's open at noon and close at 9pm.
A cultural center worth visiting! It introduces the stories and characteristics of different ethnic groups. From the welcome performance at the gate to the HA in the evening, it is very exciting! The HA show in the evening must be highly recommended, you must watch it! I was very touched by it. It has a story and contains the characteristics of all cultures. The performers are all very professional. All the employees in the cultural center are very enthusiastic and enthusiastic. There are many activities in the park, the buffet is also very rich, the food quality is also good, and the whole day is full! Big push
Awesome experience. Bus driver is also very entertaining and friendly. The buffet dinner also has a good spread of food. The show is spectacular.
I highly recommend this one-day tour. You will be picked up and dropped off at a designated hotel. The journey takes about an hour. There are six districts in total. There are many things to see. In addition to the regular exhibits, the performances in each district are also great. There are also many buffet options for dinner. The performance at 7:00 pm was very exciting, about 1 hour and 40 minutes, and it was about 10 o'clock when we returned to the hotel.
initially was abit confused which bus to take although arriving earlier as per message. the bus driver is helpful giving recommendations of places to see/eat. ticket section was abit lost to get collection of tickets. staff of university students are helpful to ensure your in right spot. the night show was lovely. the buffet meal is okay as soft drink machine is flat when drinking. overall it's lovely experience to understand the culture of different countries better.
After getting off the bus, you have to go and exchange your tickets first. The park has a very Hawaiian style. There are many DIY experiences. The buffet dinner dishes are unexpected, rich and delicious. The whole trip is very straightforward.
