Yangmingshan, Qingtiangang Private Half Day Tour (With Hotel Pickup)

Booked this tour with Sean as our tour guide. I can say that this tour is indeed the highlight of our Taiwan trip! We had a smooth drive for all locations and Sean allowed us to take our time for each place. He also followed the sequence of the itinerary and always help us take pictures. We are blessed to have a sunny day hence we got to take nice pictures and even got to see buffaloes thanks to Sean. I highly recommend to not miss booking this tour! 5/5 💛

We had a great time with our driver Chiao! Even though it rained and we couldn't see Xiaoyoukeng in the fog, we had a lot of fun. The fog made our pictures very mysterious. We also saw the last few cherry blossoms, and had a good local lunch. We asked if we could be dropped off in Beitou and this was no problem. She even gave us some recommendations. All in all, even with bad weather this was a great half-day excursion.

Vincent Hsu was our guide. He was considerate, helpful and engaging. My sister could not walk very far, so Vincent waited with my sister while we did a bit more walking. He suited the tour to our pace. We did not feel rushed. Vincent is very professional and speaks good English. He took us to a very nice place for lunch. We enjoyed the mountain chicken very much. Yangmingshan is beautiful, with stunning natural scenery along the way. You can choose a hiking trail that suits your fitness level, and the ecological environment is excellent, making it a truly pleasant experience for both body and mind. Mr. Zhan was an excellent driver and guide—experienced, punctual, knowledgeable, conversational, and refined. He shared a lot of relevant natural and historical information with us, making the entire trip enjoyable and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The experience was amazing from start to finish. Our tour guide, Chouly, was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating throughout the whole trip. She made everyone feel comfortable and welcome, and you can really see how passionate she is about her job. She took so many nice pictures of us without us even asking, and she was always very supportive and attentive to our needs. Because of her positive energy and warm personality, the tour became even more enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciated how patient and caring she was during the entire experience. Everything felt smooth, fun, and stress-free because of her. We really enjoyed this tour and had such a great time. Huge thanks to Chouly for making our experience extra special. Highly recommended!

The trip is a nice quick way to explore the natural beauty of Taiwan. Our driver and tourist guide, Steven, was very delightful and considerate. He offered flexibility on the itinerary as well. He’s a 5-star and cheerful guide. Overall this is a recommended tour if you want to squeeze in different places in your itinerary.

I signed up for a tour on the way from a hotel in Taipei to a resort in Yangmingshan. For an additional fee, they dropped us off in front of the resort in Yangmingshan. Jeffrey Peng kindly explained everything in English, and he was so receptive to my daughter's questions and stories in English that she really enjoyed it. He catered to both my mother's and my daughter's needs while walking in Yangmingshan, allowing us to comfortably experience Yangmingshan.

Totally worth it. Our guide was really friendly and very knowledgeable to the history of each spot.

my husband and I had a wonderful time with our guide, James today. He is knowledgeable about Taiwan’s history and shared many insights into the Taiwanese way of life. He also recommended us to try a local onsen in the mountains and it was an unique experience. He was flexible on timing and pick-up point, accommodating our requests. He helped to take photos of us and walked part of the trail with us, sharing lesser known details along the way.
