We loved this place the most. We tried both Amei and Skyline, but Shen Cheng Creation house was the most fancy. If you want a true tea experience, I highly recommend this one. Not only did the hostess have us 3 different teas to try (amei and skyline only one tea). She doesn't speak much English, but she will do her best to explain the types of tea you're drinking and what you're expected to taste. The snacks were also the most delicious! The place was a little hard to find. You will miss it using google. Try using the Chinese name and you may be able to find it. 山城. You will need to keep walking on the main road. No turning left or right. just keep walking until you see the cliffside bend (there are signs pointing directions). Keep walking down until you see a bubble place. It's a little past that. Keep an eye out on the house numbers. Shan Cheng will be on your left side number 193. If you walk by the stairs on the left side, then you've gone too far.
I took the second and second grade children with my family to make tea here. It was very interesting to enter the field of tea making through the introduction of the boss. I like this quiet space, even if it is foggy or rainy, I still feel that it is a worthwhile trip. Find another good day and visit again ~
Quite difficult to find, GPS can't seem to recognise the streets for some reason, so allow a bit of time to find this place. Once you are there, you will forget all about this, you will be greeted with a beautiful tea house with several floors and a lovely view. We were lucky to have the whole floor to ourselves in the evening. The owner will come show you how to use the tea set, her English is quite limited but this didn't seem a problem at all. We spent the sunset there enjoying the nibbles. Definitely a hidden gem in busy Jiufen, would highly recommend!
very calming and surreal experience. owner is very informative and spoke clearly and slowly for us to understand
I enjoyed my trip with my two daughters.
The walking distance from Jiufen entrance to the tea house probably might take around 20minutes with minimal stopover. Would recommend to book a later slot and cater in the time to walk in plus stopover. Overall it's really a great place for a lesser touristy hideout. Try the Tie Guan Yin :)
It is really a great experience . You can enjoy the scenery of 九份 at same time enjoying tea and snacks. Lady boss will explain to your regarding the tea served which is 东方美人 and 阿里山乌龙 and also show you the process of making tea. She is a very friendly and amicable person.Purchase the ticket via klook is definitely cheaper compare to walk in !
Because the vehicle was under the control of the mountain, it was more than half an hour late. The good-hearted store still helped us to keep the location. Sitting on the third floor is really great. Although the location is in many old streets, the third floor is really Very quiet view is also very good. Ban Niang is very kind to introduce the tea and kiss, and will come again next time.
An absolute experience in Jiufen! It's somethig different to try as the tea house is a bit hidden. The owners are very kind and accommodating. We arrived early so we had the whole place to ourselves for two hours
Traveled from Hong Kong with family. Impressive tea tasting and relaxing setup. Very friendly service and tea tasting experience. The staff demonstrated clearly the tea leaves and how to pour. Highly recommended.
