Reviews
Reviews summaryYou wouldn’t want to miss this experience! You can’t hear clearly what the tour guide is saying but yhe whole tour itself was exciting. The Casinos are very nice to see by day but it glows more at night! The bus ride was fast and not boring. I will do the tour again with my family next time.
It was a great way to see the city at night. The lights, landmarks, and views were beautiful and relaxing. It was convenient, well-paced and perfect for enjoying Macau's night magic without walking too much.
I participated on the day I arrived in Macau. The tour goes around hotels in the Macau Peninsula and Cotai Strip. I enjoyed the beautiful night view, and the guide's explanation was easy to understand. It was very helpful because I could understand the relative locations of the hotels and the distances between them. We stopped for about 10 minutes to coincide with the fountain show at the Wynn Palace Hotel, so I was able to enjoy the fountain show at my leisure. I was glad that I could get off at either the Venetian Macau Hotel or the Galaxy Hotel on the way back. The meeting place was difficult to get to and hard to understand, so I was worried about whether I would be on time.
First of all, it was so nice and cool to have the open top on when the weather was a bit damp. It wasn't difficult to find the meeting place, but the waiting time after gathering was quite long, maybe because there were so many people. Three buses departed at the same time. The explanations were in English and Chinese, so I just listened to the English explanation. It was a very simple explanation ^^ However, it doesn't stop at places like the London Clock Tower or the Eiffel Tower, so it's a bit inconvenient to take pictures, and the pictures taken from the moving car come out like ghost photos. I managed to get a few good ones though ^^ At the fountain show, it stops for 10 minutes, so you can enjoy it fully and take pictures after getting off. Anyway, it was a highly recommended tour to do on the first day. I thought I hadn't seen many Koreans while traveling in Macau or Hong Kong, but I met them all here ^^
I arrived 30 minutes before the meeting time, and they had already started the check-in process. I was told to line up in order of check-in, and we boarded the bus in that order, so if you want to get your favorite seat, early check-in is essential. However, the view is pretty good no matter where you sit, so it's debatable whether the right or left side is better. By the way, the bus stops on the left side for the fountain show, so the left side had a better view. Each hotel is far apart and difficult to explore on your own, so the night bus was perfect for seeing the night view all at once.
I chose the night view bus tour as the last part of my Macau trip, but I mistakenly booked the 8:30 PM time slot and couldn't get a refund. After a no-show, I boarded the 9:40 PM tour that my boyfriend booked for me. Even though it was the last tour of the day, it was almost fully booked, probably because it was a Saturday night. I was very satisfied with how I finished my Macau trip. The tour took about an hour, and the night view was so amazing that I really felt like Macau is a city of the night. I highly recommend including this in your Macau travel plans.
It is the quickest way to.enjoy the.most iconic thing to do in Macao - lights and the night life. The route ending at Galay where you can see the crystal show at 8:15 and the diamond show at 8:30pm was like an icing on the cake.
this is so fun! i suggest to book the 8:30 pm slot so you can get to see the fountain show at wynn place. the fountain show is amazing! this is worth it. also better to do this on your first night at macau since you’ll get to see the beautiful hotels. we did this on our second to the last day, where we already seen most hotels already.
Highly recommend this night tour, the sights and lights from the bus is amazing, especially when watching the Wynn Palace water fountain show! (Tip: take the seat at the left side of the bus, you won't regret it!)
The Macau Open Top Bus Tour offers a hassle-free way to see the city’s major attractions in a short time. The guided tour provides interesting insights into Macau’s landmarks, making it a great option for first-time visitors. We had a lot of fun enjoying the scenic views, but since it can get quite cold on a February night, it’s best to wear warm and comfortable clothes. Overall, it’s an enjoyable and efficient way to explore Macau’s highlights.
