I bought it when Klook was doing an event. The disadvantage is that you have to go to the site to reserve a seat, which is a bit thrilling. Because we arrived at Nagoya Airport this time, we immediately exchanged tickets and took the train to Nagoya Station to row the bus to Takayama. It was very smooth all the way to the site. The bus only had 14:30 left, and all the buses after that were full. My friend and I felt scared because we booked Takayama for the day, and if there was no car, we would go to Takayama. The next day, the bus to Gassho Village was only available for reservation at 7:00 in the morning. For the others, you had to queue up on site to try your luck. Of course, I chose the earliest reserved bus for insurance. Unexpectedly, it was full 🤪Except for the problem of having to reserve a seat on site, it was quite convenient to use. You just need to get the seat reservation ticket and show the QR code to the staff before getting on the bus (but basically they didn't look at it, they only looked at the seat reservation ticket🤣)
Very easy to use, open from your mobile phone. Before getting on the bus, show it to the driver. But you can reserve a seat when you get there. But it's okay. There are buses for people who don't reserve a seat on popular routes such as Takayama to Shirakawa-go. Good, you can get on the bus to go anywhere in the specified area according to the time period we bought.
The 5-day Shoryudo bus ticket was originally scheduled to start on 1/20, but due to the unsuccessful leave application, I changed my flight several times and spent a lot of money. Later, I wanted to go to Japan earlier and booked another airline ticket in advance on 1/18 To Japan 🇯🇵 Unfortunately, I went to Japan on 1/18 and asked the counter that I had to wait until 1/20 to open the bus tickets for Shoryudo... I was able to take the bus in the last 3 days... Because I chose a route that was too far for these 3 days It took a very long time to take the bus... Fortunately, I went to my favorite Gassho Village safely and smoothly and had a lot of fun ❄️ so it was not a wasted trip to Nagoya 😅 8 days of self-service Nagoya fun Yaya🫶🫶🫶
The pass is easy to use. Just show it and you can board the bus. The staff in Japan already know it. From Takayama, you can use it to go to Shinhotaka Ropeway without paying extra. If you go to Kamikochi, you can buy an additional ticket at Hirayu Onsen.
if you are going to takayama, kanazawa and shirakawa-go this is the best pass that you can book. additional tip just do your research and manage your time. i highly recommended 🇯🇵
We were able to use this bus pass for Nagoya to Takayama, Shirakawago, Matsumoto, Kanazawa, back to Nagoya, as well as for the train from Nagoya to Chubu Centrair Airport. Easy to reserve seats, and if there are no seats for direct travel, they suggest what transfers/route to take instead. The Nagoya-Takayama bus had a toilet on board, other routes did not. There is also a 10min break for the Nagoya-Takayama and Takayama-Mastumoto routes. Amazing views on the road, seats are comfortable, a bit expensive, but very convenient.
if you up for a detour? yes it was nice to see the alpine mountains. My hotel on the first day was in kanazawa. i had to detour so much(exp. nagoya- takayama-takaoka bus then used a local train to kanazawa) I wished they offered the bus nagoya to kanazawa cuz it existed. I gave them 4 star cuz i got it for a good price cuz i won the 88 voucher 🥴hahaha
Convenient to buy and use, but a little troublesome. You can't exchange tickets in advance. The ticket goes to Nagoya on the 27th, but the ticket is on the 30th. You can only exchange seats on the 30th (if you take the earliest bus, you must reserve seats for many people to sit). There are few trains from Kanazawa to Nagoya. Tickets are tight. It is recommended to check whether there is a train for you before deciding to exchange. Because it has not been used, you can refund the ticket, but a handling fee of 520YEN/1 ticket is charged. Shirakawa-go Takayama is worth going to Kanazawa. The journey is long. It is best to stay in Shirakawa-go, otherwise it will only waste time on the bus.
Its our third time to purchase this bus pass. we saved a lot but compared to our previous ones, its getting hard to reserve seats especially to Kanazawa.
easy to use just go to bus center and you are all set. very convenient
