Reviews
Because I will be attending a business meeting later, I only chose the first day of the three-day itinerary. The tour guide, Ms. Dilek, was very polite, warm and professional. The process of picking up and dropping off from the hotel and visiting the attractions was smooth. She turned the complex history of Turkey into simple stories, and her clear English made it easy for me to understand the content behind these historical sights. I had a wonderful and enjoyable experience on my first day in Istanbul.
Best of Istanbul - 3 day private tour Wow! Wow! Wow! This was a fully comprehensive tour of all things Istanbul made especially good by our guide Umran. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided fantastic information about all the sites we visited. We also got to experience the Turkish culture through their food and an explanation of their customs. Be brave ... try the Raki. Importantly, she tailored the tour to our pace and was always willing to accommodate any little diversions we requested. Top tip: Use public transport to travel around. It's fun and you get to feel like a local Highly recommended
I came to Istanbul alone and wanted to travel to the most essential places in a short period of time with the most reasonable time and cost. I used this guide program and I am very satisfied. First of all, the guide, Burak, sent me a reminder text message about the meeting place the day before, and he arrived early in the morning and was able to quickly complete the schedule. Burak is very knowledgeable about Ottoman and Roman history, and he provided rich storytelling even when moving between tour locations, and he explained everything I was curious about without hesitation. Above all, I felt his passion for his guiding work, and he carefully considered recommending food and places that would be helpful for my travel itinerary. I highly recommend Burak's guided tour!
My guide, Fatma was the best. I was hesistant at first, coming to Istanbul alone for the first time. But I wanted to explore th beautiful city, especially all the historical sites. I booked the 2-day private tour and it did not disappoint. She brought me to all these amazing places, I never felt hurried at all. I loved here passion and dedication. She delivered the history of Istanbul very well. There was never a dull moment. Also she went out of her way to help me shoo for souvenirs and made sure I get the bedt out of my money. I felt safe being with her. I never felt alone in my trip, it was like travelling with a friend. I truly recommend this trip to anyone who would want to discover all Istanbul can offer. I truly recommend Fatma. I hope to see her again soon. Will definetly book this again when I come back with my family.
Excellent experience with our guide, Ahmet. He speaks perfect Spanish and is very attentive to our needs. He gave us a great tour, recommendations, and good restaurants. Those two days were very pleasant for starting to get to know the city.
I placed an order at noon the day before and received an immediate reply. Everything was confirmed within an hour. Because I lived an hour and a half away from the city, I had to pay an additional $100 for pick-up and delivery. The tour guide will send you a WhatsApp message the night before to confirm the pick-up details. Basically, after the driver picks you up at the designated location, the tour guide will help with the tour and introduction. If you can pay cash to buy tickets for Hagia Sophia, the tour guide can take you in directly without queuing. In addition, the Basilica Cistern also has a window for tour guides to buy tickets, so you can save a lot of time. Basically, if cost is not a big consideration, it is a time-saving and efficient way to visit all the important attractions in one go.
I was skeptical as there is no review regarding this tour. But I go ahead and booked it and I didnt regret it! My tour guide Fatma was so wonderful and kind person. I am really happy that I got her as my tour guide. She is sooo nice, smart, helpful and the best thing is she is sooo engaging and talkative! I love how she is so passionate with her job and show Istanbul with her whole heart I am really satisfied and grateful to get her. Thank you so much Fatma and Guided Istanbul Tours for the great tour! Really enjoyed it and kinda regretted that I only booked 1 day tour. Will definitely book for 2-3 days with you guys again when I come back Istanbul with my families
guide was incredible with his wealth of knowledge, and the driver was very patient and pointed out other sites on the way when we asked about them. Great way to see the sights in a day if your short on time
The agency is highly commendable since I originally booked a private tour with transfers but they told me I don’t need transfers because our location is very near the tour area. I saved half of the price for this alone. However, upon completion of the tour, I felt like I was being harassed to provide a review. I was even given a link where to input my review but decided to do it here bec this is where I booked anyway. For those who will book this, note that entrance tickets are not included in the price. I still have to check but practically, I only paid for the guide.
It was helpful. I will use it again next time.
