Tour guide was amazing, good to know the behind story when u walk around. It’s not the same if you dont know the history and visit the places.

Two tour guides. The more senior one more knowledgeable and brought many maps and materials to enrich the experience for us, explained many dynamics between the different faiths and conditions of the time of Jesus. (Just displayed a slight temper on people who dont follow meetup times and we don’t understand why he assigned certain people to look after others). The second guide that brought us through Bethlehem was well versed with the architecture of the time and is a Muslim who claimed to be “more Catholic than you.” He encouraged people to scoot into every available space (no queues to see the birth place of Jesus) and did not like when you’re not listening. I hear there are several beaches of the Dead Sea and we were brought to the one that was rocky and muddy, with sharp edges on the sea floor.

The tour is fine and we enjoyed it. The downside was the AC of the bus was not working and when we going back to the city the bus was suddenly full as they let the other tourist to ride which was not there from the start.

It was too short trip to enjoy. It needs at least two or three days. If you guys want to visit there, you guys need sun screen and hat to avoid from sun light.

Review for: Join-in tour from Tel Aviv

The activity description has included all admission fees including the Dead Sea, but we need to buy tickets to enter after arriving. It is different from the description! It says all admission fees are included, however we had to pay to enter the Dead Sea beach.

The itinerary is very full and the time is very tight. It is recommended to bring your own breakfast. You can only eat light meals in the tourist bus on the day. The experience time is not enough, you may meet the local Shabbat, and the whole trip ends almost 2 hours earlier.

While we didn’t have anything specifically wrong with this tour, I felt it was not quite a 5-star experience. It was fine, but our tour guide Hanoch seemed to struggle a bit with such a large tour (pretty much an entire coach full of people.) Wondering around Jerusalem the city isn’t exactly equipped for easy access of larger groups. Perhaps it would have been better with some of those group headphones or flags to keep everyone together. The visit to Bethlehem was OK, although it is not earth shattering - pretty much just a somewhat awkwardly designed church. There is one souvenir tour stop as well which was fine - but a bit awkward since everything was on a “special” discount of 10% - we felt very much like a captive audience in the shop. Same at the Dead Sea where we were given special discount coupons while the shop didn’t seem to have the best value. The Dead Sea visit was awesome - a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should try. Pro tip: we noticed that a number or people were doing a one-way tour i.e. they started in Tel Aviv and ended the day in Jerusalem or vice-versa. Klook doesn’t have this option but you might just want to give it a try if you don’t have too many suitcases in tow.

Review for: Jerusalem, Dead Sea and Bethlehem Day Tour

It was a well managed trip. We started from the hotel at 8.00 am. Our first stop was the walking tour of Old Jerusalem. The guide was good and knowledgeable. After about 3hr trip we were taken in a mini-van to Bethlehem where a Palestinian guide was at our disposal who took us to the Church of Nativity. He too was good and more patient than the first one. Our last stop was dead sea where we were given about a n hour. The trip was well planned except that the time allotted for each, especially old Jerusalem was short, but possibly that could not be helped. The trip started late, after 8.00 when the time given was 7.30. That was annoying and left you wondering.
