Oahu Ultimate Circle Island Day Tour

it didn’t start off great with the tour starting 30 mins late and us all standing on the side of the road wondering if they were showing up… but once the tour started it was great all the highlights of the north shore. there was enough time at each of the lookouts to have a look and take pictures… be mindful that the shrimp is about $25 usd per person including a drink that is an added cost.. and it is paid in cash.. but totally worth it… and at the dole plantation you have enough time to buy and eat dole whip but not to explore to far only 30mins … it was very informative with lots of jokes and culture along the way… be mindful they do a speal at the end about how much they get paid and they live off tips … but overall it was a good day

10/10 Experience and I'm not even glazing cause I Love Derk 😂🔥it was quite confusing finding the tour bus at first cause we didnt know they call out names since many tour bus' come through the same meet-up point, but other than that, It was quite literally "The Ultimate Tour" Derk's the best tour guide here, he went above and beyond with the History lessons of the venues we've visited and stopped by, almost felt like that one kids show " The Magic School Bus" 😂 Id highly recommend This Tour to anyone looking for an affordable and lively experience 🙏🏽 If you guys get Derk you wont regret ❤️

driver was good, give us good history and details during our tour so I gain knowledge about Hawaii. recommend trying Leonard donuts!

The Circle Island tour on October 22nd was great. The guide was friendly, and the clear blue skies made the scenery around the Halona Blowhole absolutely stunning. The shrimp at the shrimp truck were nice and crunchy. We tried to see sea turtles at Haleiwa Beach Park, but unfortunately, we couldn't find any due to the weather.

I applied after I had already gone to Hawaii, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was driven around and shown many of the best parts of Hawaii, and I had a fulfilling trip with time to get out at key locations, take photos, and shop. I left something behind and was worried about what to do, but they helped me communicate via chat and with the driver, and they delivered it to me nearby the next morning, which was a great help.

Marvie is a fun and amazing tour driver/guide who is so knowledgeable with Oahu. We enjoyed our ultimate tour and learned a lot from him. We had a delicious lunch also thanks to him. He did a lot for today for everyone. Appreciating all his efforts and good work. Saw turtles at turtle beach. All itinerary completed on time.

The meeting point had many different groups, and they were calling out names, which was a bit confusing. Departure was at 7:30, and we were told to arrive 15 minutes early, but they didn't call my name until 7:45, so I was very nervous and frantically looking for my ride, running around for half an hour. Because the vehicles were arriving one after another, and then we had to wait for people who hadn't boarded yet, who were apparently waiting in the hotel lobby. The notification did say to wait in the lobby, but most people were waiting outside, so the departure arrangements were not explained clearly at all, wasting a lot of energy and time. Other than that, the itinerary was great, highly recommended! 👍

Highly recommend this tour! We decided to book it for our first day in Hawaii to get the lay of the land and tick some places off of our “tourist-must-see” checklist. We had Chief Henry as our guide and it felt like an honour to have someone with so much love and wisdom to guide us through Oahu. In the beginning, it was a bit confusing to find the meet up place. We were told to be in Hyatt Regency but Apple and Google maps was showing somewhere else. I highlighted the street of the where the meet up is in yellow (Koa Ave) in the pic below. Be prepared to wait a bit. There are many tour companies picking up at the same location and be prepared to listen for your name. You can also ask some of the guides for help if needed. With that said, we believe that this experience is so worth it. We enjoyed every minute of it and the convenience it offered us. 🤙

This tour felt more rushed than immersive. Kahala Lookout and Halona Blowhole were very short stops, barely 7–10 minutes each. Both are high viewpoints, and there wasn’t enough time to really take them in. The Jurassic park and the lost filming location was the highlight of the tour. We were given good time there, and it was genuinely enjoyable to explore and take photos. The Macadamia Nut Farm, Dole Plantation, and Coffee Farm felt overly commercial. These stops seemed focused on selling products rather than offering meaningful experiences, and were a waste of time imo. The shrimp stop was good and easily one of the better parts of the day. The food was enjoyable. The drive itself was scenic, but if you don’t get a window seat on the bus, you miss most of the views. We were back by 3:30 pm, which made the day feel even shorter. Overall, the tour felt more like being taken from shop to shop than actually sightseeing. I wouldn’t recommend it, even for first-time visitors.

tour guide Rob was very attentive, knowledgeable to the history of each tour stop, very considerate and kind. He is a wonderful guide , I enjoyed the tour a lot!
