What to expect
Make a stop at Beagle Bay community and enjoy morning tea. Take the opportunity to pay a visit to the Sacred Heart Church (entry by donation, at own expense) and see the Pearl Shell altar.
Admire the pearl shell altar, built in 1918 by the Pallottine monks.

One Arm Point is a remote Indigenous community with amazing views of the Buccaneer Archipelago. The vast stretches of sandy beaches are known to be the nesting place for wild turtles
Learn about the connection the local Bardi Jawi people have to their country, as salt water people.
Visit the Trochus Shell Hatchery and Aquaculture Centre at One Arm Point.

- **Please note: Due to the impact of the recent cyclone in the Kimberley, the Hatchery at Ardyaloon (One Arm Point) is currently under reconstruction and therefore not currently open to visitors. While the infrastructure recovers, we will still visit the Ardyaloon community to admire their spectacular ocean vistas and to have the chance to purchase their locally-made arts and crafts. We are pleased to be able to support the community while they rebuild and will update when they are ready to reopen.
