Sabah Kinabalu Park, Poring Hot Spring and Desa Dairy Farm Day Tour

Very nice tour, managed to see a lot of cows at Desa cattle farm and there’s a free small milk carton included. Had a heartwarming meal and were lucky enough to see the rafflesia and different rare species of orchid blooming. A lot of nice scenery from the top of the mountain. The tour guide Michael is also very knowledgeable and passionate about the different plant species on the mountain, especially the orchids. Good and relaxing day trip to have as the bus will pick up from the hotel and return back to the city.

Roy was very friendly and helpful. Since the canopy walk has been closed for the past few months, it was replaced with a trail hike to the waterfall instead.

It was a pity that I couldn't see the peak of Mt. Kinabalu properly because it was a cloudy day, but even so, the mountain covered in clouds was delicious. I also enjoyed the yogurt ice cream at Desa Ranch, and although I didn't expect much, the experience of walking on the canopy was so much fun. And there was even a free hot spring foot bath at the end... I enjoyed the day tour for its cost-effectiveness!

Director Rosran is very enthusiastic, talkative, and has sufficient professional knowledge. He will introduce us to a lot of history and culture related to Sabah on the way to various attractions. At noon, we will have shared Malaysian food, and we can take the opportunity to get to know each other with the group members. When it’s time to climb the treetop trail, everyone will encourage each other. I like the pace and atmosphere of this kind of travel very much. On the return trip, many people expressed their willingness to see Rafflesia flowers, and the director and driver were also willing to take us to see them. It's my first time in Kota Kinabalu, and a friend recommended visiting Mount Kinabalu. I saw that Fubon Bank had a discount of 120, so I bought it after arriving in Kota Kinabalu, which was very convenient (you only need to purchase it 24 hours before departure). The day before departure, the tour guide will send reminders via WhatsApp about things to note, such as umbrellas, jackets, mosquito repellent, etc., which is super thoughtful. ???????? On the day of departure, we waited in the hotel lobby at 7:00 AM, and they picked us up to set off together. There were 6 people in the group (all ladies), and the tour guide was very attentive ????????. It rained heavily this morning, and I was worried that it would affect the trip. Fortunately, the weather cleared up almost when we arrived at the first attraction, and we could experience the local culture. It's really great. I highly recommend it. I went with Michael as a guide, and he explained everything in detail and kindly, and the food was delicious. I recommend paying extra to see the Laffencia flowers. It's hard to get fresh milk in Malaysia, so it was nice to go to the milk market and try it, and the mountain trekking while going on the canopy walk was also nice. Everyone does activities that involve just playing in the ocean, but I highly recommend Mount Kinabalu :) I recommend bringing snacks for the round trip!

We were stuck with a sad weather, but the endless pouring weather couldn’t stop us. Our guide Kelvin was trying his best to show & explain about the local areas, culture, and of course the nature. I love the local market with Nabalu coffee and amazing fruits. Desa farm’s delicious yogurt ice cream & coffee milk are unforgettable too. It was very heart-warming to know that 30% of Desa farm’s profit goes to 3 different kinds of care center that needs help such as orphanage. We were also very lucky to see one small rafflesia and few buds at a farm. The canopy walk was a bit challenging with many stairs and puddles from so much rain. But it was worth a try! Our wonderful prince driver Hendra drove so well that he broght us back to the town by 5PM exact. If you like an advanture, this is something you should try and try it with Kelvin & Hendra

We weren’t sure exactly what the itinerary was going to be until the day but this made what we did even more exciting! Our guide Roy was lovely and explained everything very clearly, ensuring we knew how long we would be in the car for between stops. The communication before the tour was good and we were picked up promptly on the day. Another group had cancelled the night before so we actually ended up having a private tour for no extra fee! At the Poring Hot Springs and Canopy Walk, Roy allowed us to walk a bit further and go to the waterfall after learning I loved them. We never felt rushed at any of the stops which was great. Food at lunch was the best I have had on a day trip! The clouds sadly covered the top of Mt Kinabalu but just being able to drive through the jungle was fantastic. My only recommendation would be adding a bit more detail to the description for the day and providing some free water bottles. Would 100% recommend this tour - amazing value for money!!

very good tour experience, tour guide carefully explain the history of each visited site and very attentive. Good for first time traveller to Sabah.
