Reviews summarya beautiful place. the guide was amazing. the travel well organized. the lunch food is okay, you buy the drinks. the only issue i had was during the start of the trip. it was a bit disorganized where i had to run bus by bus looking for my tour because there will be a lot of bus in the meeting point with different meteora tours and you wont know where is yours. i recommend you go early for buffer time, look at your name in the list the drivers carry rather than asking them, coz they dont know which is which either if u just show them your ticket. otherwise, it was a fun trip. 10/10
Travelled 1 Dec 2025, weather was crisp, there were no crowds, it was worth paying the additional 5 Euros to enter each monastery. lunch and dinner stops were expensive and not tasty. views were amazing. would definitely recommend it.
One of the best highlights of my Athens trip. Even though it was a long trip, around 4 hours one way, it was organized very well, so we could have enough time exploring 3 monasteries and take some photos with great views in the backdrop. Transport was comfortable, and the guide was super nice and helpful, and explained all the details we needed to know about the area. Well worth the time and money. Recommended for anyone.
If you go on this trip and get Maria as a guide you will have perfect day. She speaks several languages. She is friendly, helpful and know her job perfectly. We took this trip from Athens and I think ot was perfect choice. Highly recommend.
i have forgotten my tour on 6th march and went on 7th march instead, reach and had a little of chat with the bus driver, and he called back the office to confirm my booking and they confirm it and allow me to join the tour instead, thank you for the great help and understanding. meteora is such a amazing landscape , it felt so peaceful and surreal, the scenery is totally out of this world, the climb up to monastery can be very steep and tough for those whom had knee problem, otherwise do go up and visit all monastery , you have to pay entrance fee to go in thought but its worth every penny, inside the monastery there is still monk and nun taking care of the area, dont let the 5 hours bus ride fron athens to meteora scare you away, because i would go there again if i ever go to athens again, its just so worth it. our tour guide clement is fron canada, and he speaks good English and he is so passionate about his job and all the landscape and history there, you can tell he love meteora.
It was an amazing tour and I enjoyed a lot. easy to look for meeting point at Athens. can stay at local bakery while waiting for the Bus. bus has WiFi. Clement our tour guide is knowledgeable and very accommodating. Christos is a great driver. enjoyed all the spots we went. this is highly recommended!!!!
our guide Clement is great. he has many interesting and funny stories with demonstration of historical photos and diagrams to share with us. plus helpful with taking photos and tips what to pay attention to when we get into the different monasteries. you dont really need a long dress for ladies. the guide/ monastery provide a scarf for you for free. I wish there is a larger sign postage with klook/the name of guide/ tour company though on the transfer bus. many the transfer buses artive at the restaurant stops at similar time and it is a bit difficult to identify.
Both tours offered good value for money. Clement, our guide in Meteora from Meteora Thrones was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout the tour. He was very friendly, professional and had a good sense of humour too. We visited 3 monasteries and the views there were simply amazing and out of this world! Delphi, on the other hand was full of history and the archaeological site had great views over the valley with the Mt Parnassus mountain range as the backdrop. The tour also included a visit to the Delphi Archaeological Museum too. Would highly recommend both tours if you have an extra day or two to spend in Athens!
Clement, the Tour Guide was amazing ! he planned everything perfectly and we even managed to admire the sunset from the best spot. This tour includes, indeed a lot of bus, but once in Meteor the time seems suspended in the air and we always have enough time to visit the monastery. definitely recommend it !
It was so good. Instead of buying a train ticket and making a separate reservation, go on this tour. Take a large bus and arrive at Meteora, then split into teams and go on good minibuses. They take you to various places and explain them, and they also give you time to stop at photo spots and take pictures. The cost of going to Meteora is expensive. However, if you are planning to go, make a reservation for this tour. It is enough for a day trip to Meteora. I recommend a same-day trip rather than 2 days and 1 night (5 hours one way by bus and 10 hours round trip is a bit difficult, but 1 day in Athens is enough time to see the sights, so if you plan on 2 days in Athens, go there. I recommend a one-day Athens tour to Meteora) 3 attractions where you pay 3 euros per time, a total of 9 euros (per person) Card payment x Cash only
