super highly recommend. the tour was very well organised . Dan the cruise manager is so so well managed. he help us with our requests and did everything perfectly. I will definitely book this tour again and recommend it to my family n frends.
The wait for the ship to start off takes longer than expected, but otherwise I have no other complaints. the buffet spread in the 1st day lunch was nice and sufficient. aftershock we transfer over to the smaller boat to sightseeing. All the staff and guide were excellent and good with English. If you are not tired from the Tiptop island, feel free to check out the night activities like karaoke and night fishing. Just one more comment that the bathroom of mine opened quite restrictedly as the hinge has blocked the glass door of the shower from opening completely. Not sure if the other rooms are similar.
Had a great time during the whole experience! We got picked up at our hotel in the old quarter. Communication was excellent, meals were great and can accommodate with several diets, activities were good and the staff really nice. The boats are in better conditions than others and the rooms are almost hotel like, very comfortable with great views. Our guide Michael was enthusiastic and very nice, and the rest of the crew were great too. The program was very well planned with breaks to have private time but also enough activities to never feel bored. Overall very happy with this experience and highly recommend it to anyone.
Pickup was slightly chaotic, especially if you’re meeting at the Hanoi Opera House, please make sure to give them a proper number (in my case was WhatsApp) to reach you at as that spot is used by a lot of tour companies for pick up. Tour operator reached out the day before to confirm everything and the tour guide will give you a message as well the night before. The cruise itself was lovely, great hospitality by the crew, food and drinks were good, and activities seemed standard across all different tour operators. Most importantly, weather was very good when we did the cruise. Was a bang for our buck!
Originally booked Amanda Premier Cruise for March. However, due to private event, the agent contacted me that the cruise day is unavailable. She is really helpful and helped to convert my booking to Anthena Luxury Cruise. Booking via Klook is always trustable without any issue. Anthena Cruise is awesome too, visited the cave, island and kayak is great.
although the cruise was shifted to the starlight cruise. we have no regret to choose this. We also had great experience for this 2 days 1 night with starlight cruise. The waiter and guide tour also put the best effort to serve us with pleased. We are intriguied with the activities accordingly (even tho in the cave is pretty crowded since it also have others cruise tour as well) Overall me and my family enjoy this trip and would able to recommend it to our relatives and friends
All the activities on the cruise were superb along with the exploration of caves and rides. Special mention would be the kayak experience at Luon cave.
This is my second time participating in an Amanda cruise, and this time I came with my family. Ha Long Bay is a place where people can relax, and all three excursions were excellent. I'd also like to thank the cruise company staff for their attentive care. The meals were delicious.
Trip was very good. Room and view were really nice. They took care of my dietary needs which was really encouraging and very nice gesture from their side. Activities were engaging and fun. Only few suggestions for improvements: Kayaking activity time should be increased and price of water in ship is about 4.5 times than what we will get in market, although we always have the option to bring water with us.
A relaxing and comfortable experience. After enjoying water activities, you can return to the boat to freshen up and have a meal, which is very pleasant.
