12-Hour Hobbiton and Rotorua Day Tour

The Hobbiton Movie Set Tour was one of the best tours I have ever experienced and was absolutely worth it. The tour itself was well organized, and I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience. However, I was disappointed with the way tour cancellations were handled. My Rotorua tour was cancelled at a very late stage, which was unfortunate, especially since I had only planned to spend three days in Auckland. The late cancellation made it difficult to adjust my itinerary and arrange an alternative activity. Despite this setback, I truly enjoyed my visit to Hobbiton, and it was the highlight of my trip.

The course was presented at below…You will be picked up with other members at each hotels at about 6:00am. Then, we would go to Hobbiton and arrived about 8:30am. We would get on shuttle bus to Hobbiton scinic area and were guided with tour guider and stay till about 11:30am. We then arrived at Te Puia Moari institute at 12:45pm. The tour-guider would introduce Māori culture and Kiwis, geyser would be watched there. We started to return to Auckland at about 3pm. Finally we passed through Rotorua Lake and returned to Auckland. We returned to our hotel at about 6pm-6:30pm. Thank for our tourist guide Mr. ADil, under his detailed commentary and assistance, we have best experiences.

the place is really amazing! a beautiful scenery that you really adore it. it is really a great experince in my life being a tourist to diferrent places around the world! you really appreciate the place! i surely recommend this place to be one of your itinerary in auckland , new zealand!

The highlight of our short North Island Trip! highly recommended to anyone visiting New Zealand with limited time & or not keen on driving yourself to Rotorua. The guide/driver was very attentive & accomodating. We never felt rushed during the tour even though we were on time limit. I tried the lamb pie that the guide recommended and it turns out to be the best pie I’ve had in NZ!

Tour guide Christ is quite enthusiastic and dedicated. Picked up at the pick up point on time. The program takes about 12 hours. Suitable for those who do not have much time in the North Island and want to visit the main attractions in the North Island

The views are amazing at the Hobbiton Movie Set. It is a magical experience for Middle-earth fans & film enthusiasts. The Te Puia Māori Arts & Cultural Institute is an iconic centre that showcases the rich heritage and traditions of New Zealand's indigenous people. Both places are a must-go for visitors of North Island.

It was a long day but we definitely had a great time. To be honest, we were not big fans of the film but turns out to be an epic experience for our family. We had a great time in Rotorua and Te Puia as well. Our driver, Warren, very friendly and informative. He kept everyone entertained during the entire tour.

The photos and videos wont be able to show how lovely this place is, it’s few hours drive from Auckland but worth the time and money

The night before, we received a confirmation letter confirming the meeting time and location for the next day. We departed from Auckland at 6:20 in the morning. There were four group members in a Mercedes-Benz eight-seater car. The car was very comfortable. The tour guide was very kind and considerate and explained many towns along the way. The history, the landscape along the road, the geography and history of New Zealand, the whole trip to Green City gained a lot. The itinerary is very smooth and you don't feel rushed. I highly recommend participating.

The guide Warren was very humorous and friendly. He took care of everyone along the way and gave us a wonderful travel experience! The weather was very good on the day of the tour, and I took many good photos. I even saw the cute kiwi up close at the Kiwi Pavilion in the Rotorua area! Really happy!
