Sababay Winery Tour with Wine Tasting in Bali

Booking was easy through the Klook app. Booked our driver Gusto who was on time, stayed throughout the tour and very accommodating. Winery was interesting and educational. Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. Really enjoyed the wine tasting and cheese platter, cassava chips and beautiful setting indoors. Definietely recommend doing the tour. Great to be supporting a locally grown and supplied winery 😀.

The guide is friendly and good at introducing. In the package, we got 4 wine testing with wine’s introduction together with chocolate plates.

This was a perfect activity while arriving into Ubud. the presentation was great and just learning the history of the winery and distillery and the wine tasking was pleasant too. the light meal was also good. There were several places to take pictures as the weather was nice and bright. I would recommend if one is looking for a lazy, easy day.

Had an absolutely lovely time here, was great to learn about the history of Indonesian wine/vineyards and how this winery really helps the local farmers. The snacks we had with the tasting were delicious and the hospitality was lovely. Our tour guide was very helpful and informative

Great experience with Asti, our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed touring the processing and bottling facilities. Very generous with the tasting pours and a lovely little cassava snack to finish with. Gorgeous grounds as well - well worth a visit to do something unique in Bali.

Tour guide (Asti) was very knowledgeable of the wine production. She was very enthusiastic and answered all our queries. Tour itself was okay. Not too great. Just okay. Went there during off season so the leaves on their (very) mini vineyard were even turning brown. No bottle production, just wine being aged in the tanks. I even saw a cobweb strand in one of the machines (in the grape sorter I think). I suggest to ask if it is wine making season so you can see a bit more action. Wine itself was good (but I think not for the wine aficionados/wine connoisseur), tasted good for a topical country. Still a good experience if you haven’t been on a real vineyard or wine tour like me.

Interesting that Bali has a winery. Its a good alternative to include in the Bali itinerary apart from the usual places to go to. Learning about the history of how the winery started was worth the time. The wine tasting experience is also very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly too.

We purchased a sip of love, but it rained on the day of the trip so we moved it indoors. The itinerary and environment are good, and the explanation is very professional. The wines are mainly entry-level. You can get to know Indonesian wines.
