Reviews
The market tour and cooking class was excellent and educational. The class was well-structured and in a timely manner. everything was explained in detail. Learned a lot about the Korean culture and its food. we even received our own recipe book at the end of class. was not hungry after all. portions were just right. highly recommended to anyone visiting Korea and great value!
I absolutely loved this cooking class with Chef Kim Miseon. The walking tour through the market was so informative, and I loved learning some of the history behind the market as well as how it's used today. We also got to try some tea and silkworms from vendors which was awesome! Definitely recommend this cooking class and walking tour.
highly recommend! very impressed with OME Cooking Lab. Mingseong (hope I got her name correct) in very patient and clear in her instructions. she made this a great experience for everyone.
Such a great experience where we had an hour to do the grocery shopping in the local market and learn all about the culture from a local chef. We then cooked some delicious traditional Korean meals in a beautiful cooking studio. We even got a free cookery book and postcards too. Would definitely recommend.
We've booked the market tour + cooking class for the second time in 2 years, and it was incredibly good once again. The market tour provides great insights into Korean ingredients and local eating habits. The ingredients purchased there were then used in the cooking class. Minseon, the instructor, is fully committed, explains everything well, and answers all questions with passion and expertise. The class is a lot of fun, only extremely high-quality ingredients are used, and afterwards you receive a bound cookbook with the recipes we cooked, and a few more great cooking inspirations. All in all, it's a course that we can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone interested, as it wonderfully completes a visit to Seoul/Korea.
I really enjoyed the whole experience, it was well guided and paced- learned a lot about Korean food and cooking. It was really a worthwhile experience in Korea!! Bonus: enjoyed great food!!!
This experience was super fun!! The tour and the cooking class were so interesting, Chef Minseon was so nice and has so much knowledge about Korean food. The dishes we made were so delicious. Highly recommend!
It's a wonderful experience. The cooking coach is nice and patient. Cooking programs are easy and well designed. You can learn how to cook step by step, and enjoy what you make. The market tour is great, too. Tour guide could speak in English and Chinese very well. You can learn a lot. The content of the event is very well designed. The coaches and guides are very patient and have questions and answers. It is worth participating.
the people putting on the event were so nice. friendly and encouraged the group to.work together. the food was amazing. We made so much and the market tour was really interesting and it was a nice surprise to get a few samples along the way
We had so much fun!! Jihee and Kim were both very friendly and helpful. Jihee’s teachings were very easy to follow. All the dishes were very easy to make, yet very delicious!! We joined the friday bibimbap class, but we still got to learn other dishes like bulgogi, kimchi pancake and japchae. They helped us to take photos when we were cooking and even gave us small gifts after the class. A very interesting experience!! Highly recommended!
