Reviews
During the tour we enjoyed amazing views of the forest and waterfalls. I'd say the trek is medium difficulty, it is short but steep, the guide gave us plenty of time to relax near waterfalls. We really enjoyed fish therapy at the last stop! Breakfast and lunch from local kitchen were plenty and very tasty. I wish the guide would tell us more about the history of the reserve, maybe more about conservation efforts, flora and fauna that can be found there. Our pickup went smoothly, but during drop-off the car broke down a bot before our place. The driver called a tuktuk taxi to drive us all the way home, so no problem there. Overall we enjoyed the experience, the views, the tour.
Perfect tour. Pick up was on time. Very knowledgeable guide in the forest, we saw many animals during the trek around waterfalls. Very good breakfast and lunch included.
The transportation connection is not very good. The car drove to the entrance of a mountain road, took a tutu to the gate of the scenic spot, and waited for half an hour before tutu came over. The trip is relatively short, starting at 8:30 and finishing at 11:30. Isn’t there still an afternoon left? Sorry, after seeing the 5 waterfalls, it’s time to go back. As a result, we returned to Bentota at 2 pm. Then why not start again at 9am so that you can get some more sleep. The hiking itself is very interesting. The scenery changes with each step. There is a section of the mountain road where you have to walk barefoot and the soles of your feet suffer. The tour guide kept helping to take photos, and the driver also walked with us, which made us feel very safe. It was a bit unfinished at the end.
