I had issues that just didn’t end. I spent an hour chatting with someone online in the end they sent me a secondary sim. this worked for a few days and then stopped. we travelled Johannesburg, Cape Town and then Mauritius. it chose when it wanted to work. even if I had full bars I got nothing. I have used Klook for Bali a few times and never had an issue. Maybe it was Africa’s network, I’m not sure.

I started in Nigeria, then Ghana, and finally in Kenya. It's the best because once you upload the eSIM, you don't need to do anything else. As soon as the plane lands, you already have internet.
